Had their steak sub a month ago and thought it was good. This one I'd ordered recently had veggies in it which isn't bad, but unexpected. The meatball sub was all beef. You need some pork for some flavoring. Haven't had the pizza since 2009.
Franco's cheesestesk was over cooked (more like pulverised). Sauce was very tart and not flavorful. Eaten here 6 times, this was worst. Looked like half steak portion on a whole roll. Hoping it was just a bad night.
My favorite neighborhood Italian! Saturday night you can catch a great piano player and seating around 7pm is not a problem. Always start with an antipasta salad- love the dressing and the hot bread. I then go for the spaghetti and meatballs with extra sauce. Straight up comfort food! My wife will get her glass of wine and sometimes shares my main or this time she got the ravioli. Family owned and been in my old neighborhood for a long time. If you are near the Norfolk airport...
