Granby Theater - Weddings & Private Events

It was beautiful! Had to park a block away and one the bathroom stalls were out of order! The venue itself was great!

We attended a murder mystery for our anniversary. As this was our 1st visit to this theater, we came with open minds. We were pleasantly surprised by the entire production. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was tasty, and the performance was entertaining. My husband already wants to return. We plan to do so when a new show will run. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Very spacious and versatile venue. From raves, murder mystery dinners to weddings, this is the place to be.

Amazing building, beautiful history and the staff was amazing. But we all agree the food was to die for. The creamy spinach artichoke dip, savory mushroom cream sauce on the herb marinated chicken absolutely mind blowing. I'd recommend anyone who wants to have a time they never forget go to Granby theater

We had our annual awards ceremony in February and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of space for 400 people easily. Music, lighting, and service was great.

It was a good show ,but they knew the show was sold out an couldn't keep up with the food demand at by the time you got your food it was cold unfortunately 😔

Amazing venue! We hosted our annual award ceremony for Iron Valley Real Estate and they truly did a fantastic job with the decor in our Fire and Ice theme and the staff were all super friendly and helpful!

Had a great evening here for a candlelight concert. Our seats were first come first served up in the balcony area and weren't the most comfortable but the view was amazing. I would definitely come back for another show.

Bathrooms are consistently awful. Broken locks on doors, toilet rolls not refilled.

Best dough nuts in Virginia. Fresh made tasted so delicous..forget about Dunkin Donut and Krispy cream. Opened so early in the morning at 5:00am and closed at 2:00 am. Many varieties of dough nuts. Not too sweet..❤️ it. Highly recommend to others.

The theater is amazing and the location is great. Perfect for any type of event!

Granby Theater is in the middle of a classic Norfolk neighborhood with great restaurants and shopping just doors away. I was there for a conference, and break time became an adventure in the surrounding area as there was so much to see and do just a few steps away. There is street parking with a meter available right in front of the theater with a mobile app called Park Norfolk, and the cost is like $3.15 for every 2 hours, I believe.
Inside of Granby Theater, the red carpet entrance leads up to the main area where there were tables set up in several sections, some high tops, and some regular size tables. The stage was set on the lowest area, so wherever you were seated, the stage was visible to you. There are 2 huge bars on both sides of the Theater with every drink imaginable, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The stage has plenty of room for a presenter, including a huge screen located at the rear of the stage. The sound quality was clear and bright, and the bass could really shake the room. The staff members were courteous and professional and although there was a lack of outlets for my laptop, they made every effort to make the best use of extension cords to make sure that I had power. I really like the atmosphere of Granby Theater.

We were there for the Navy Khaki Ball.
