Searched for black owned businesses near my job last month, and found this place. First time visit today, for lunch. Got the Salisbury dinner with mac and yams. Came with rice and gravy, and cornbread. The ladies behind the counter were kind and courteous, clearly working hard. My order was ready in less than five minutes. The plate probably weighed a couple pounds. The Salisbury steak was THICCCC, very generous portion which I appreciated for the price. The gravy was perfectly...
The food is outstanding taste, texture, quantity. If you’re looking for high blood pressure salty, then this is not the one for you. I love the flavors, just wished they open on the weekends Sunday after church type of food ? ???
Yo the food is really good, it really reminded me of eating at my grandmother’s spot. There are two restaurants beside this place, one of the has been accused of being racist against African Americans, while the other one sells basic tasting and not the best Chinese ( Yum Yums has far better Chinese in Colley) food. I highly recommend spending your dollars and showing your support by enjoying the great food they offer and make your soul smile. Peace and blessings.
