This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly, welcoming team that clearly cares about making your experience great. The subs here are fantastic—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and incredible flavor. The vegetable sub is packed with flavor and easily one of the best I’ve had. The pricing is unbeatable. On top of that, the entire place, including the bathroom facilities, is spotless, which shows the attention to detail and care they put into every aspect of the business. Highly recommend stopping by!

Very, very disappointed. I ordered a club sub using grubhub. How can you mess up a sub!!!! It was disgusting. Maybe the meat and cheese was old, I don't know but I took like 3 bites and threw it out. I will never order from them again. What a waste.

I'd thought or remembered that this place was on Little Creek road at one time. Was getting a meatball and cheese sub, but there was a deal for 2 whole subs for $17.40. The other sub was a grinder. Wished the grinder had more meat, but it was still good. Meatball and cheese was pretty good too.

Pass by this place all the time. Finally decided to stop by yesterday. Got the half Super Grinder for my fiance, and a bowl of chili for myself. My fiance could not stop raving about how good his sandwich was. I mixed half the chili with some homemade meat sauce I made a couple days prior, and that too was delicious. Came back this afternoon. Got the half Club Sub for my fiance and the steak sub combo for myself. Fixed some crinkle-cut French fries with half for dinner. Had half of the brownie warmed with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Lying on the couch smiling as I type this review.
Wondering if Greater Grinders does catering.

I will be posting another review on this spot soon, and pictures, however, this is the best Submarine Place Around and I highly recommend it to anyone! They treated me like family and I got free refills while waiting on my order. The root beer here is the best root beer I have tasted in years, and the meat ball subs here are like no other! They also sell homemade soup which I shall be trying next time on my weekly visit. I love this place and I have been coming here since a child. Everything about it is spectacular. 🙏

I really enjoy this place the staff is awesome, and very friendly. The pay extreme attention to detail even with the little things like refilling my drink all the way up to the very tip top. Little things like that truly matter in establishments. I am very well pleased with this restaurant. Shout out to brother Jimmie as well, he was the cashier and made my experience very smooth and worth while.

Visiting Norfolk from out of town and found this sub shop after we left the airport. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The man who took our order was patient with us since it was our first time there and gave us suggestions on what to eat. We both got the super greater grinder half sandwich and the local drink of sweet tea and lemonade. The subs were delicious!
