Using my husband’s phone for this review since my phone is broken but, I came here for breakfast and sat at the bar. The bartender seemed friendly but a bit rushed, even though it wasn’t very busy there was only a few people sitting there. I was seated and ordered pretty quickly, but after waiting around 30–35 minutes, I was told my order had accidentally never been put in and had been exited out. I had to reorder and ended up waiting another 20 minutes.
Overall, it took about an hour to get my food, which was disappointing considering my order wasn’t complicated. Watching people who arrived after me get their food and leave before I was even served made the experience even more frustrating.
I understand mistakes happen, so I’m not upset about the error itself, but unfortunately the food wasn’t worth the wait either. If the service had been better, I’d probably come back and try other menu items since it’s conveniently located, but based on this experience I don’t plan on returning.

Great find! Went on Sunday morning. Got a spicy bloody mary ( Devil Dog) and the breakfast burrito. Really good service and delicious food and drink. Cool theme with the dogs.

This place is cool always look to stop when in downtown Norfolk. Unique food options such as their Hair of the dog burger that uses waffles instead of a traditional bun. Walkable from Mcarthur Center parking garages and close to downtown waterfront. Check the hours as they are not open for dinner.
A great spot for breakfast! We shared a giant mimosa and I got the chicken and waffles “doggy style.” The service was great, the food was amazing. Would definitely stop in again.

Riley E provided us a great brunch experience! Her smile just made us feel at home and she was so pleasant and helpful. And the food was delicious as well! We split the Chesapeake Benedict and Cali Benedict and accompanied that with a couple a mimosas. Would highly recommend!

We had breakfast and it was fantastic! My husband had the Chicken and Waffle and said it was beyond his expectations. I had the basic breakfast and it was perfect. Our waitress, Abigail, was amazing.

Food was excellent. Flavor profiles were great the fried chicken had great seasoning and was crispy, waffle was ok (im not a huge waffle guy) but it complimented the chicken well, I actually wasnt a huge fan of the candid bacon but it wasnt enough to ruin the over all plate.

This is my second time visiting. After raving about their delicious breakfast and flights my sister insisted on seeing what the hype was all about. We came after a fun visit with our children at the Portsmouth Children's Museum. We had worked up quite an appetite after running around all morning and wanted to fuel up before the 45 minute drive back home. Our server Ryleigh met us with a warm and welcoming smile! She described the flavors of the new seasonal flights on the menu. My sister and I chose to order both the mimosa flight and the boozy coffee flight not realizing how incredible the portions were! I ordered my favorite Pungo which was so yummy! and I a side of the specialty french toast! Strawberry shortcake Yum! My sister went with the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which she enjoyed. Both our girls ordered breakfast from the kids menu and MERMAID MILK! Which they absolutely loved. Overall we enjoyed ourselves! Our food came out hot and fresh and within 20 minutes! Our server Ryleigh was sweet, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely be coming again!

Went this morning. Ordered to go:
1 big breakfast
1 basic breakfast
1 shrimp and grits.
Pancakes were placed on top of the eggs so they ended up getting stuck. Eggs were cold. Shrimp and grits were nasty and only had 3 shrimp. Doubt I ever go back. Also charged a “credit card tax” on top of the other taxes.
Only bright spot was the bartender was cool.
