Honestly, do not know what the big deal is about. That said, I just moved back to the east coast after nearly 10 years in New Mexico and my taco standards are high. Had both lamb and chicken tacos. Meat on both was so tough I couldn't chew it. Don't even know how to make chicken that tough. Flavors were ok, but definitely getting an MSG headache from the rice. Had food to-go, so maybe dining in is a better option? Tamale was HUGE and dry as a bone. Beans were good. Tortillas were made on site, but undercooked and completely fell apart. Just all around not great.

The food was good but nothing spectacular. A bit pricey. Also, I think $4.50 for a Coke is a bit much and never got a refill. It was extremely loud. And we rarely seen our waiter, had to ask for our check, and then we were sure how to pay, so we went up to a register and was told to sit back down and someone would come to our table for the check. Expected better since it was featured on DDD.

Best mexican food around. Most places around here are pretty awful, they may look nice but then you sit down and get your food and it just tastes awful. Not at Jessy's though. Everything Ive order reminds me of home in texas and southern california. Only thing they could work on is the beans and rice. Service is always great too!

This place used to be really good .
The food I got was not good at all , had no flavor or taste . I also got an appetizer, the guac was Terrible had no taste it was gray and wasn’t fresh . Not what I was expecting at all .
They scarified the taste of their food for an outdoor seating areas I guess .

Worst California burrito I’ve had out of the places that offer them in the area. French fries were not crispy at all, luke warm, and unseasoned. Asada had good flavor though, and I did like their salsas.

Very good al pastor and choriqueso! Also very flavorful salsa. Have not been to this place in years but it looks great after the remodel and the menu has expanded a lot to include a lot of yummy street foods. Plus there's a tienda attach to the restaurant that has a lot of cool snacks and drinks.

Restaurant was full of flies. Food was tasteless. Waitress never refilled my ice tea. They tried to charge us for a food item that we did not order. Refried beans were burnt! Please don't waste your money.

Sad, this used to be a great place, service went down hill after the remodel. I can’t speak for the food because it never made it out after an hour people around us got served the same dishes we ordered, and they came in after we ordered.

Took way too long to get our food! Order was incorrect. Two of our party are eating and two of us have not received our orders. If you sit outside expect obnoxious bikes and cars to rev it up a notch and drown out your conversation. Literally writing this waiting on my food for 45 minutes. Not rocket science!!

The food was great and the margaritas were great. Not sure why but our waitress basically ignored us the entire time. I had to flag her down anytime we needed something. She just seemed like she wanted nothing to do with us like when she brought our food I said “thank you” and she didn’t even look in our direction or say “your welcome” I know it sounds like I’m being picky but it was very odd the way she was acting. The other staff not serving our table were more friendly and asked us how our food was or if we needed anything. Not once did she come over besides to drop off the food and drinks. We also never got the squeeze bottle of sauces with our meal.

We have been here several times, and we haven't had one bad dish. Also, don't forget their mexican market next door for fresh meat, produce, desserts and candy ✌️❤️
