Honestly, do not know what the big deal is about. That said, I just moved back to the east coast after nearly 10 years in New Mexico and my taco standards are high. Had both lamb and chicken tacos. Meat on both was so tough I couldn't chew it. Don't even know how to make chicken that tough. Flavors were ok, but definitely getting an MSG headache from the rice. Had food to-go, so maybe dining in is a better option? Tamale was HUGE and dry as a bone. Beans were good....

The food was good but nothing spectacular. A bit pricey. Also, I think $4.50 for a Coke is a bit much and never got a refill. It was extremely loud. And we rarely seen our waiter, had to ask for our check, and then we were sure how to pay, so we went up to a register and was told to sit back down and someone would come to our table for the check. Expected better since it was featured on DDD.

Best mexican food around. Most places around here are pretty awful, they may look nice but then you sit down and get your food and it just tastes awful. Not at Jessy's though. Everything Ive order reminds me of home in texas and southern california. Only thing they could work on is the beans and rice. Service is always great too!
