The ramen here is exceptional—deep, layered broth with just the right balance of umami and richness. The noodles have that perfect springy bite, and every topping feels intentional, not just added. It’s clear a lot of care goes into each bowl. Easily one of the best ramen experiences I’ve had outside of Japan.

The interior is nicely decorated; the waiter was attentive with fast service.
I ordered the Thai tea which tasted like a high fructose corn syrup flavored and orange dyed milk. The vegetable spring rolls were quite bland and made me think I had heated up something from the frozen aisle. The black ramen sounded interesting and is apparently a favorite but it had an unpleasant flavor and besides the eggs every individual component was less than mediocre.
If you want ramen visit alkaline a couple blocks down the street !

I’ve been to this restaurant’s Virginia Beach location before and had a good experience, but unfortunately, my recent visit was very disappointing. The female staff member who served us was extremely rude and had a noticeably bad attitude throughout the meal.

There were four of us dining. While two of us were still eating and the other two had nearly finished, she brought the bill without asking or checking if we were ready. That felt very rushed and inconsiderate.

What made it worse was that we were about to sign and leave a tip, but then we noticed that a gratuity had already been added—without any notice or mention. That’s something that should be communicated upfront, and it felt sneaky.

Overall, the service was disrespectful and the experience left a bad impression. I won’t be coming back.

I try my best to see the bright side at restaurants, but I’m truly upset and taken aback. I ordered for pickup about 2 days ago. I got the katsu and my boyfriend got ramen. Mine immediately did not taste fresh and within 2 bites I threw all of mine out. My boyfriend ate all of us. For the last 2 days he has been sick. He went to urgent care today, and was just updated that he has a bacterial infection in his gut. I’m really upset and so disgusted because normally I give places more than one chance, but this is insane. That was the only place he ate from that day, and hasn’t been able to eat since. He went to urgent care because it was the last resort. I think there’s an issue with the food here. Maybe due to slow amount of customers they are reselling things that don’t sell or something, but one thing is for sure he got a gut bacterial infection from this food.

Perfect experience!! Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Ghent. Quick service, food was hot and presentation was great. The ramen felt so comforting and like it’s a specific recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. Best Ramen in Norfolk!

Lousy service by Yan, treated my table poorly but was nice to everyone else in the restaurant then slapped the bill down before we were done eating, food was ok but needs improvement as well as the customer service , cleanliness and updated menus. First time dining in and very disappointed at our treatment.

My partner and I are doordashing picking up their food to deliver to their customer together and my partner needed to use the bathroom. Although I believe they do have the right to refuse the use of the bathroom i will no longer continue eating here. Next time I'll cancel the order too. Just be courteous.

Will cancel my plans to try her husband's Korean Hot pot too.
