Delicious vegan sushi. So many options that we couldn't try everything. And they always have a vegan special alongside the regular special. Great atmosphere too. We were served very quickly and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Fantastic Curry, Sushi, Soup, and Salad. Could not ask for any more, only wish it was closer! Fantastic service and decent parking availability. Kinda surprised it wasn't more popular during our

I have lived in Japan and it has been so hard to find authentic Japanese food but look no further for this place is as real as it gets. I was so nostalgic during dinner, they bring out miso soup and salad as a complimentary starter. In order the Mt Fuji roll which was divine! I also ordered the tempura dinner and it was delicious! Great portions and even better taste! I will recommend this location to everyone who wants authentic Japanese cuisine!

I really want to leave this place a good review, but the kitchen and service was soo backed up that as one person, it took 2.5 hrs to eat. Then waited for the check for 20 min.Kind people, but took way too long

The vegan lobster rolls were good but it did leave my stomach w a sharp pain afterwards. Customer service was awful though. I asked if Tom Yum soup was available (Which is available in other Japanese restaurants, especially when I actually was in Japan) & the daughter of the owner caught an attitude giving me every bit of info besides what i asked about just to state that they do usually sell it in other Japanese restaurants, just insulting my intelligence unprovoked :/ . Before that we came an hour before closing & she rushed us to order saying “ We’re about to close, what do you want? “ food was great though i will not knock that but she needs to fix the tude!!!

came here for my partner and i anniversary and we enjoyed it. the service was okay. they took a while to check up on us and to also give us our bill. the food tasted great. we were excited to try the tamaki here since there aren't any other sushi restaurants that sells them. the curry was good, nothing special about it. would definitely come back.

Food are pretty good, not the best I've ever had but for a place in Virginia its pretty good, service was good, the wait is just a little but they were busy so understandable. Love takoyaki balls, they did better then some places I have tried nearby, heard the mussels and crabmeat was popular but I think its ok, it could be more flavorful. Sushi was actually good, I had the Crazy Angle, Volcano roll, and 2 more i dont remeber lol

My wife was not a sushi fan. I took her here one time insisting that she tries their sushi and this is now the only place she will eat sushi from! We have tried several other places they just cant get it right. All of the sushi at this place is fresh and delicious. The service is great and atmosphere is cultural. You will not be disappointed!

Good food but some of the slowest service I have endured. It seemed borderline intentional, which if it was I would've appreciated a warning. The staff was only so so in terms of friendliness, curt is the word I would use to describe our interaction.

Kotobuki was a pleasant surprise and a pleasant experience in the heart of Ghent. FOOD: My buddy and I ordered so much sushi, as you can see in my picture :) We ordered tuna, salmon, and scallops, and they had toro, so we asked for that. I ordered the mixed vegetable tempura - delicious! This was lunch, so I ordered green tea to drink. SERVICE: Friendly and attentive! This was such a pleasant experience. Lunch wasn't too busy; I think there were 6 tables used. LOCATION: Okay, we sat at their Japanese-style tables, and let me tell you, I was surprised they even had it there! So unique!! Will I come back? 100%!!!

Such a hidden gem! If you're looking for delicious sushi this is your place! The staff was friendly, the ambience was calm, and the food was delicious! Recently moved here from California and was craving decent sushi but haven't been able to find a good one until stumbling on this place, they're excellent! Ordered seaweed salad, crab meat mussels (the best mussels i've ever had at a restaurant!!), crazy angel roll, moon beach roll, and tempura fried oreos for dessert! I enjoyed how the server suggested a new dessert as my initial choice of tempura fried ice cream wasn't being served today. i appreciate helpful suggestions instead of leaving it at "we're out". Thank you for an amazing experience and food, i'll definitely be returning!
