We needed a bite to eat heading back to Maryland and decided to give this little diner a shot on our way out of town. It looks and feels like you’d want a small diner to. You seat yourself so we just grabbed a spot outside which was nice. Once I found out that their hot dog chili was homemade, my fiance and I both got the chili dog platters and it did not disappoint. This is a great place to eat and would eat here again if we are ever in the area.

Go-to breakfast joint in the heart of Ghent. The Down South twist on eggs Benedict (fried green tomato, bacon, avocado, on a biscuit with customary perfect poached egg) was outstanding. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered. Really great service.

I use to pass this place years ago and wondered about it.
Got to try it today for a quick bite. I had the BLT with Avocado. I enjoyed it. Came out quickly. Egg and bacon cooked just right.
Atmosphere felt a little off to me. Kind of welcoming if they don’t know you, kind of not.

Such a great atmosphere, waiter was very friendly, the food pleased everyone in our group (who have extremely different tastes and needs!). Biscuits are soft and fluffy, pancakes with the maple bourbon syrup are delicious, and the crab omelette was a huge hit with my health conscious mother. Tasty, not bitter coffee too. Can’t wait to come back. So lucky to have in the neighborhood
