I got recommended this location from work and came here for dinner last day of staying at Norfolk. There is no wifi and TV but you don’t need those at all. You can vibing with environment. Instead of turning random music, people talking and communicating are more interesting part. I came here alone but I liked it bartender was super nice and kept checking up on me. I usually don’t try appetizers but this place was different. There is somehow expectation that needs a tryout.
Starting with Tonno Crudo E Tartufu Nero, it is some pricy for some of you but it was absolutely worth to try. Rare cooked and diced ahi tuna with lemon and cilantro. Since raw ahi tuna could bring cheesy or oily taste but the sourness of lemon and cilantro was harmonize with Ahi tuna. It feels like fishes are flowing around my mouth.
After finishing appetizer, as entree, I had Spaghetti Della Pescatore. It is more likely Vongole Pasta but more juicy flavor on broth and those clams, mussels, and shrimps are playing surround with it. It was perfect food after appetizers feel like i am in part of ocean.
After entree, I need some ending point. So, I ordered dessert as Truffle Chocolate cake with Espresso Gelato. Lastly tasting dessert, I was full and absolutely satisfied. It was worth dinner for last day of travel. I wish i could have a chance to re-visit Norfolk. And, food was absolutely impressed.

Luce is wonderful! The bartender was super attentive to our group of four at the bar, and patient and helpful. Sometimes it’s hard to get a reservation, but I promise it’s worth the wait. The food is amazing. The goat cheese and burrata apps are delicious, but the calamari is INCREDIBLE. I love the ragu and rig and goose entrees. The tiramisu is perfect, so delectable!!

Luce absolutely delivered. The seared scallops were the highlight for me, perfectly caramelized on the outside and tender inside, sitting over a rich, creamy risotto that tasted like it had been cared for from start to finish, not rushed. The pasta dish was equally satisfying, cooked al dente with a bright, savory tomato base and a generous hit of fresh basil that kept it tasting fresh and balanced. Portions felt right, presentation was beautiful without being pretentious, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. If you want a place that takes flavor and execution seriously, Luce is worth the visit.

When I later checked my American Express account, the posted charge was $72, which is $10 more than the amount I authorized. I have photos of both the signed receipt and the posted transaction.
I wanted to share this experience so others are aware and can review their charges carefully.

My wife and I sent here for our first anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helped recommend good wine that matches our palates. The food was absolutely divine that I was lost for words to describe how i felt eating the food in the moment. Absolutely will come again.
The wait staff was great! Food was ok, my $14 piece of cake took all of 4 bites to consume. I got the smoked salmon pasta, flavor was great, but there was maybe 2 Oz of salmon in the whole dish, I could barely taste any. I honestly just expected more for the price.
