My wife and I sent here for our first anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helped recommend good wine that matches our palates. The food was absolutely divine that I was lost for words to describe how i felt eating the food in the moment. Absolutely will come again.
The wait staff was great! Food was ok, my $14 piece of cake took all of 4 bites to consume. I got the smoked salmon pasta, flavor was great, but there was maybe 2 Oz of salmon in the whole dish, I could barely taste any. I honestly just expected more for the price.

My husband and I went first time there and everything was delicious and service was great. Now by the second, third and even fourth it was horrible we never went again. A male waitress made us feel so bad, we were walking to the bar because they had told us it was available and the male at the bar yelled they were occupied and all the restaurant looked at us. Very uncomfortable situation and then we sat outside and in the food there was a hair:/. We had hoped to have the same service as our first time however didn’t end up being that way and we never went again to this specific Luce in Norfolk. But we went to the one in chesapeake and loved it.

5 stars across the board. The food and the service were great. This is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Growing up in NY i’ve eaten at some very good Italian restaurants. Lucce is a gem in Downtown Norfolk. You won’t be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of revisiting Luce after a couple of years and the food is just as flavorful as I remembered! I recommend making reservations a couple weeks out or if you have time to spare to wait, they do offer walk-ins. Also for parking, it’s a bit tricky to find street parking downtown Norfolk, but the parking garages offer a free 2 hour pass, so that would be the best move. We ordered the bone-in veal chop Milanese made with the perfect batter and lemon caper sauce. For the pasta, we order the special which was fennel sausage and a cream sauce with rigatoni pasta cooked just al dente. Service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice place with good vibes! Too small so be prepared to be uncomfortably close to others. There is 1 good table. Food was hit and miss between dishes but mostly hits. Drinks were very good, I would say excellent. Nick was great and very informed about the food. Worth a shot and I might try again.
