We go to Luna Maya at least once a month. And as vegetarians you have several options to choose from. This is the place you go when your group has mixed diets, theres something for everyone. We've all had that conversation when nobody knows what they want to eat but everyone is hungry....just go to Luna Maya...

The food, margaritas and service was excellent! Cannot wait to come back and try other entrees on their menu.

Excellent, authentic Mexican. Lots of vegetarian options as well as traditional meat dishes. Wide range of original Margaritas with top shelf tequilas. Waiter was attentive, helpful and pleasant. Space is busy and a little loud but manageable. Highly recommend.

rice is bland, tamale is a joke is like liquid corn soup poured on top of the husk, beans are liquified, nothing tastes authentic let alone appetizing. not mexican food. service is good though and the place is decorated nicely.

Very disappointing experience.
Chef Mike is hard at work here and it shows; from clearly store bought chips to insanely priced drinks (which were mostly mixer). This place has all hippie vibes and no good food to excuse it. Service was VERY slow despite it being dead when we were there. The ambiance was ok, but the echo makes it hard to carry a conversation (we were sat next to a large (8) party with screaming children and loud patrons). This place is an attempt of ethnic fusion, but definitely came up short. We didn't bother ordering dinner after the disastrous appetizer presentation.

The interior design is definitely a highlight—the decorator clearly went all out, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe. That said, the room we were seated in had a strong echo, which made conversation a bit difficult.
As other reviews have pointed out, this place seems to aim for Latin fusion but misses the mark. The chips we received were clearly store-bought, and the passion fruit skinny mojito was underwhelming—light on alcohol, lacking freshness, and not worth the $13 price tag.
For the first time in years, I chose not to order an entrée. After seeing the presentation of the appetizer and tasting the drink, I had enough. My partner, who is from Puerto Rico, didn’t even feel comfortable trying the water.

I think this place would be 5 stars for someone who is into fusion. My friends and I picked this thinking it was more of a traditional Mexican but it is Def not. Certain portions are very small and others are quite large. Reasonably priced. Not a large drink selection. Not for me, but again I think if you're looking for fusion foods this would be for you.

The staff here is amazing. They are always on point and fast with everything. The food never takes long and the portions are always amazing. A true original spot for Ghent. Great for dates or a large group!

Food is always delicious and service is always great. It’s just so loud in the back room. It’s impossible to talk when there’s a party of 10 at the big table.

Didn't feel or taste authentic. Looks pretty inside but that's the only thing worth mentioning. Don't set a high expectation.

I come here often for their chicken Cilantro quesadillas and Chorizo queso however I don’t recommend coming here if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food . It’s very Americanized but tasty nonetheless. I will say the Rice and beans needs work , absolutely no flavor . Other than that the atmosphere is great , drinks are 10/10, and my service is always great .
Was my first time ordering from Luna Maya! And they did not disappoint when it came to the flavor! I ordered the vegan quesadilla tonight for takeout, as I was not feeling well. My husband, graciously when in to pick it up for me. He said the host/servers were cheerful and pleasant. The establishment looked nice inside! The vegan quesadillas was just what I needed! It was delicious!! Thank you very much!! The only request, is there be as much beans as there was rice, as there was not much placed in there. But otherwise, everything was very delightful. Thank you!
My fiancée and I dined here a few weeks ago (sorry for the late review). We sat outside because it was the first warm enough day of the year. My fiancée ordered the spicy margarita and I ordered the pomegranate mojito. He fell in love with the margarita and has been talking about it since which says a lot considering anytime we eat out, if there is a spicy margarita on the menu, he has to order it. The mojito was delicious as well. We ordered the spicy guacamole as an appetizer and it was down the hatch within minutes. I ordered the fish tacos which came out deconstructed. The portion size of fish was HUGE and way more than you need for the 3-4 corn or flour tortillas they give you. I would recommend the kitchen gives a smaller portion of fish for the tacos. It almost felt wasteful. That being said, they were SO GOOD. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. My fiancée ordered the beef brisket burrito. The brisket was melt in your mouth good. I wish I could remember our servers name, he was very nice and attentive. The service was quick and efficient. He timed the appetizers and the main entrees perfectly. I’ve worked in the industry for almost 10 years and really enjoy when the server shows some personality. We dined here just after finding our venue for our wedding and it was so good that we asked if they catered! Unfortunately the answer was no. We will definitely be back and we will bring our friends next time! (If they start catering I would love to be reached out to!)
