The atmosphere was dreary and unwelcoming, with a heavy, locals-only vibe centered around drinking. Customer service was exceptionally poor, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. I didn’t stay long enough to try the food and ultimately decided to leave—definitely won’t be returning.

Amazingly quiet for such a comfortable place to eat delicious crabcakes or get the excellent Monday burger deal. Even at 2pm on a Monday I would understand if the place had been overfilling with people but the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet.

First of all the appetizers were phenomenal. We had an order of oysters rock and Kansas City pork rolls. Our drinks consisted of a tequila facelift and Mack’s rum runner. Unfortunately the drinks and apps were the highlight of the meal.
Service was seriously lacking/absent and apparently they don’t have a dress code since one of the staff kept walking around with their backside hanging out. One of the staff apparently thought they were at a karaoke bar.
The decor was fitting to the name but needed serious dusting.
If you decide to go be ready for a CC sur-charge that was not warned anywhere on the menu or as we walked in.

Staff is very rude!!! I did not see the sign for private parking and accidentally parked in their parking lot trying to go to the Bird next door. Old hag screamed at me from the door and was very rude about me parking there even though I was going to move my car and there was no one there no wonder.

The professionalism at the shack is equal to nothing. Nobody was there to see me. And a stranger played a server literally pretended to be a server. A The whole time I talked to this liar!!! Was probably drunk the workers were around letting it slide! BIG NONO. This was my first time going and it was a bad experience. Please make sure you get an actual server to serve you if you go here I spoke to the owner and she said after everything that the person didn’t even work there. Wasted my time don’t go here please. I don’t want what happen to me to anyone else! I got the food because they put it in already and the burger was not good. You’re better off making it at your house. Do better, and if you have sign up live to it. Don’t have strangers doing your job.
This is one of my favorite dive bars in the area. Great summer atmosphere. There's a huge deck over on the river, they had live music and a good happy hour. Everyday has a special for food. The staff are cool and personable, they shared home made hot sauce with me for my wings. They just need more heavy duty beers.

Was pulling in to the parking lot and before I could finish getting out of my car and older lady with a nasty attitude yelling from across the parking lot saying if we aren’t eating at the restaurant I couldn’t park there. I understand that was the policy but the way she yelled was highly unprofessional and ruined any chance of getting me coming to that establishment to dine. Might I add there were no customers inside the restaurant anyway that’s why the lady was outside policing the parking lot. If you want a welcoming environment I can tell this is NOT the place to come. Was thinking about eating here but decided to go next door to The Bird.

Lovely view of the water. Attentive, friendly, and beautiful server "Ella". We were lucky and came on a night with live music on the patio. The young man singing was Ray with guitarist. Very enjoyable, not too loud, playing current songs. Will definitely go back!!

Would love to leave a fair review, but unfortunately didn’t get the chance. My wife and I were seated immediately upon arrival, only to sit for 35 minutes after being served water - unfortunately we never got the chance to order food. We eventually ended up leaving due to the lack of service. We may give it another chance sometime down the road, but unfortunately not in the near future.
