Absolutely the best Phillie cheesesteak in the area. Probably the whole city of Norfolk, maybe even Hampton Roads.I've been going semi-weekly for lunch in between classes for a year now maybe, it's perfect 80% of the time and good for the rest -- last time was a lil dry, but you can't win em all. In contrast, the Sunday I brought my dad in was probably the best sandwich either of us had had in our entire lives.I get the 7 inch beef w/ green peppers, onions, pickles, mustard, provolone and pepper jack. Garlic parmesan fries on the side and any soda. The 7-inch is more than enough and still well-worth it despite the recent price increase. Keep it simple and your life will be easier everywhere you go.Service and atmosphere are great -- there's normally old Wrestlemania shows on one TV and some kinda music channel on the other, always a treat. It's closer to ordering takeout than a big customer service experience, but the owner is great and the staff are always able to help if you ever have an issue.Lots of people don't realize they have a dining room downstairs and think the little front room is all they got; I didn't realize until literally 3 weeks ago, after coming in for over a year. That's mostly my fault, but if I had one suggestion, probably put up a sign.Absolute gem, nothing but love for the place.

I’m just going to say it’s a No for me all over… this place is in a great location for downtown. The place is nice and kept clean but when it comes to the food I’m going to say no. We ordered the chicken cheesesteak and a jerk chicken cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak egg rolls. We stuck with the basics because if you can make the simpler things taste better then your menu can be bomb. We did not like it not one bit. Nothing taste like it was seasoned everything was just cooked and whatever it taste like plainly cooked that’s what it taste like. The egg rolls were very greasy and just were not it. I had the chicken cheesesteak and I put all my normal fixings that I would eat with my cheesesteak and nothing was seasoned. My partner had the jerk chicken cheesesteak and it just tasted weird all together. The fries have the potential to be good they were just a little soggy if they were cooked a little bit longer then they would work. The mayo sauce that comes with the food was the only good thing that we ordered. I had high hopes for this place its looks very appealing and appetizing but looks can be deceiving. I do not think it was worth the $93 that we spent and I definitely wouldn’t go back again.

Food was good, just expensive. Ordered a jerk chicken cheesesteak, watermelon lemonade, fries and chicken egg roll. They gave me a beef egg roll and fries came cold. Cheesesteak had good flavoring though and lemonade was great.Downstairs section has some arcade games and tvs. Overall nice vibe.Staff was friendly and wait time wasn’t too bad considering they were busy. Overall would return!

Omg I was very disappointed. Subs were disgusting . I had the jerk chicken sub combo. Sub was not flavorful at all definitely didn’t give me a jerk taste. Onion ring was super hard taste like the grease needed to be changed. O and the combo come with a drink but soda only which I don’t drink soda . My daughter had a Philly also a disappointment didn’t give Philly at all. Fries were horrible too. Husband didn’t like his Philly either. Also I think the workers should have someone cover their hair . Will not try again. Save your money it’s already expensive and n 2 not have a good sub is a big disappointment. I wish I could give 0 stars
It took over 40 minutes to get 2 subs, a salmon egg roll, fries, and onion rings. People that placed orders after me received there orders first. I asked the owner if it usually takes this long he said it depends on what you order and had the audacity to say we don’t serve fast food we serve good food. I should have asked for my $55.00 back and left his “good food” right there. Also when I got home they had given me a beef sub and I had ordered a chicken sub and the fries were cold.

My daughter recommended this place; since I'm visiting from Texas. Food was tasty...SERVICE SUCKS! I MEANNNN no greeting or hello to customers at all. Norfolk, that's how you folks roll?? Keep it! SERVICE IS HORRIBLE...JUST GIVE ME MY FOOD SOO...I can go..BYE!
