very nice venue and beautiful outdoor seating.
A nice proper establishment with a welcoming staff. Each drink is worth the visit
Great atmosphere, service, and adult beverages!!
Great service. Fun beer selection, including beermosas. Clean. Favorite part is the adults-only seating area outside.
Pretty neat brewery. 3 different spicy beer options on tap. With jalapeños and ghost peppers! Indoor sectioned off cigar lounge and the biggest outdoor seating area I have seen in Norfolk!
Great beer! Huge space! Chill vibe with pool, board games, and a large outdoor area. A food truck will roll by on most days, and we were told they don’t even care if you order food in. We even saw a group sitting down playing a serious table top rpg!
They have kids snacks on hand, like Go-gurt, but they also have some strict rules for kids and their use of the outdoor space.
“If you can’t touch your children they are too far away from you.”
That one is a bit excessive. Unless they are thinking of like babies or maybe toddlers… having said that, no one was chasing us trying to enforce that so seems they are pretty chill.
Good times were had by all. Would definitely come again. Great place to catch up with old friends or to have a hangout with a larger group.
EDIT: Don't see a way to reply! In response to the Maker's Squad. No objection to the ball throwing, and especially rock throwing. That's just downright dangerous. Keep on keepin' on!
Let’s see you can drink Murder Hornet, shoot stick, smoke cigars, bring your dog, sit in a great cigar lounge or outside, listen to music, enjoy the Norfolk vibe, watch sports on TV and just chill around awesome staff and patrons….is there room here for five more stars. Great place!
Went yesterday with wife and two kids. As most have stated, place is extremely over the top and obnoxious with children. Last night from about 6-8 pm, the place was empty. My kids had been playing in the gravel for 45 minutes before the staff asked that we take them out of there. Asked again later when they were hiding a toy- “can you please get them out of there”. I can read the signage and I’m not ignorant to cigar smoke and kids. Let me reiterate and make clear that there were ZERO people sitting there. Staff are hired because they are trusted and authorized to use judgement. What a shame. Think for yourself. Won’t be back and will definitely be spending my money at your competitor’s spots.
The most relaxing time I have had at a brewery! Huge space both indoor and outdoor and the beer was good.
I really want to like this place. It has all the things I like at a brewery, such as the ample outdoor seatings. However, if you don’t like cigar smoke, I cannot recommend this place. Despite the cigar lounge being separated from the main dining area, the smell is still noticeable and unpleasant. You’d hope it’d be better outside, but unfortunately there are often enough smokers that you won’t be able to escape it there either.
I recommend Afterglow, the beer, and especially the atmosphere, is better.

Great place to hang out and chill !
Amazing place to try some new beers and chill outside. There is a cigar bar in the back, no kids aloud. Lots of room in and outside. Will definitely be coming back.
Great brewery. Perfect place for a private party
A Brewery that I won’t be returning to. If you are a DOG owner you are welcome, but being a parent of Kids that want to play and it is please leave.
Great atmosphere and I love the cigar room!
