A grand looking brewery with food trucks, a huge and amazing outdoor seating area, and a cigar lounge connected. During our visit you couldnt smell the smoke at all. The brewery had a nice and varied selection of beers covering different types and styles.

This use to be my go to brewery but they have become mundane. Before they carried an assortment of stouts with different ABVs. But now they are like the rest same high alcohol stouts and same types of beer.

I Usually, like this place, last night was an exception. Upon arrival, there were two guys standing behind the counter, and there were no other customers waiting at the counter. While I was trying to decide, some lady walked up, and they immediately focused all their attention on her, totally leaving me hanging till they had completely served her. As I stated, I was the only one in line, so she basically just cut the line and got served. I started to leave and go somewhere else after this incident, but I decided to stay since it was already getting late. When it was getting near closing time, but we still had at least 30 minutes or so, they rang an audible bell and turned on all the lights, totally spoiling the vibe as if to say, “Please slam your beer down and get out.” I’ve seen lights turned on in breweries before, but usually, it’s at least after closing time, not 30 minutes before. This will really make me reconsider visiting there very much anymore. The staff definitely weren’t the friendliest this time.

Went to the Vintage fest this afternoon. Was wonderful. The beer was good too. I had the Sweet Stout and Echo Bourbon Barrel beer. I liked both very much. Parking is terrible but there is an event. So it might be better on normal days. A great afternoon!!!!

Just visited here attended the Vintage Market and decided to grab some of their local ale ( NECTARON of the Gods ) to go with the Mac Bbq bowl it’s another nice local place to visit

Great spot to get drinks and hang out, does smell a bit like cigars thoughtout the whole area, they do have a cigar room, which for some is a plus not me. They have seasonal beers that are good I had the pumpkin lager, that and the craft sodas are also good the root beer and cherry are both must trys
I admit that I found out about this Norfolk Virginia Makers Craft and Brewery location after hearing about it referenced via people at my current place of employment. I took a chance with going there less than 8 hours ago. I tried a black cherry shandy which was delicious and the employee helping me to select the order was highly polite. It was tempting to order another beer. However I felt myself get a light buzz after just one drink and I chose to voluntarily restrain myself tonight for personal reasons. There was a Rosa's Lumpia truck outside of the restaurant and I chose to order 4 pieces of lumpia which I received with sweet chili sauce which was also delicious and luckily that food helped to soak up the beer I was enjoying. The employees handling my food order were friendly and cheerful towards me even with I being slightly buzzed. Obviously I intend to keep an open mind to returning and I am glad to have tried some of the beer with some lumpia on the side.

Outdoor games as well. No food (aside from snacks) served inside, but usually, there is a food truck outside.
