We bought some Pan de Ube here today, and it was delicious. Freshly baked, soft and tasty. The lady who helped us was so nice. Highly recommend!

Very nice little neighborhood market. They have the best Beef Lumpia that I have had. They cooked up 50 for and it was outstanding.
The store owner said she is in the process of redoing and upgrading the menu. Large selection of frozen and shelf items, but you have to get there early to get the fresh fish ?, they do sell out fast. Stop by and take a look, you won't be disappointed. Nothing fancy just a nice little neighborhood market.

The best lumpia! Got chicken and beef. Fabulous and friendly. Got it to go and fast too. They also sell it frozen, which is my next objective. Pricing was great. Now on my 'must have' list. Try them out, you'll be

Best pandesal in VIrginia ?
I just went there yesterday. O.m.g!! I got some rolls that had purple yam in it and my sister got the ones that had coconut in it. It was amazing!!!! The texture bwas like super soft and doughy bread but it tastes like a donut! Oh! I am ashamed to say I ate 3?. It was so cool to see dessert from another culture. I am going back this week to wee what else I can get! They sell hot food too!! You really need to go!

Please update your hours. We are here at 10am and you are closed. It says you open at 9
This place seriously has the best lumpia! Manila Bread House is my go-to place for ready-made ones, and it's always a good fix for lumpia cravings. ?

BEST pandesal in the 757, if not the entire east coast! I'm Filipino and my family has been loyally going to Manila Bread House ever since it opened in the 80s with the original owners. Whenever I have relatives coming into town - from New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Florida, Texas - they always bring home boxes of pandesal because it's better than the Filipino bakeries in their areas (even if there is a large filipino community there). I have since moved away from Norfolk, but every time I visit, I stock up and bring back dozens of pandesal because no other recipes compare. Joe and his family currently run the shop and they treat you like family. They even made my sister's wedding cake! Please support this wonderful Asian small business!
They make the best Ube bread! My son loves it! I’m glad I discovered this place. I will definitely be coming back for more.

i wish i could give - stari usually don't do this type of thing and i'm sure they have good food. however I've never had the pleasure of trying it for my self. i made arrangements to pick up Pancit and Lumpia to celebrate my sons 30th birthday. i placed the order with the owner very nice man on the phone and gave me a awesome deal. i was all ready to go to. i received a text from them saying " store was closed since Thursday for health issue and will stay closed until Monday." i understand things happen they do all the time. it's unacceptable and most unprofessional to text a potential customer 8:35 pm hours before i was scheduled to pick it up. if the store was closed on Thursday there was ample time to at least call before Friday night and it should have not been sent via Text.. Luckily i found another place to get the same items.
Jose and his wife treat you as family. This place has the best bread in Hampton Roads, maybe in Virginia. Do yourself a favor and go right now.
