I was very disappointed!!!! I previously had gotten a sopa de mondongo when I had gone there for the first time and I was pleased and it may have been because it was during lunch time but it was loaded with tripe and the cow feet along with lots of vegetables. Today my husband wanted some so we ordered 2 sopas de mondongo to go, this time I went around 7:30ish when I got home and served it in a bowl it barely had any tripe and the only vegetable was one piece of Chayote. They should have just said no we don’t have any more instead of just given me coconut milk and rice. What happened to the vegetable and tripe ???? For the amount of money we spent it should be worth it instead you have basically the leftover.

I have been coming here for a long time. You can tell the clientele and workers are authentic Mexicans or Hispanics that enjoy real Hispanic food. I usually get my food to go, but today I decided to eat in the restaurant. I always get the tacos Carne Asada because it is the best Carne Asada I’ve ever had and all of hampton roads and I love Mexican food so I’ve eaten out pretty much every my same place that I can think of. A regular customer even suggested a dish that is similar to empanadas, but even better the pastry they used was flaky and crispy. Their Carne Asada is always flavor just right and very tender that you can just bite right through it and it’s melting your mouth. Their tortillas in their chips are also homemade, and you can tell them. I feel like this place was under the radar for a very long time, but you have to check this out as soon as you can!

The food is excellent, service excellent, music seems a little too loud for me, but the place is beautiful and super clean, we ordered the food below for two, the food was so much, it’s great amount for the money spent….. great job guys…!!!

Parking: You all the space available to use for parking…. It’s a lot..

I never like to leave a bad review but have to be honest.Food was good even though my order was wrong. Service wasn't the best, never got a refill on drinks or was checked on! Was told the server spoke English but there was a miscommunication between my order and the cook and wasn't offered a fix. Probably won't go back ?

Staff very rude, I had to wait around 20 minutes to get our drinks and I had to ask for the chips, they weren’t really busy. I noticed that waitress put more attention to men who are drinking alcohol than others clients. It was frustrating, we finished and I had to pay at the register because she never brought us the check.

went in with my mil & sil.. we walk in and someone sat us, waiter comes up speaking spanish.. luckily i do because before anyone could say anything, she said “do you speak en-gil-ish” very rudely.. then roles her eyes when i tell her they don’t speak spanish but i do.. very rude the whole time & took forever.. wouldn’t recommend if you aren’t fluent in spanish. another customer that was there got the same attitude when they said they did not speak spanish.

Disappointing and frustrating...asked for the red snapper dinner listed on the menu...they didn't have...they did have another fish but refused to switch out the fish...then they didn't have the arroz con frijoles either....then I asked for carnitas tacos...that's was a No....I just hope that the fajitas and chicken tacos I ordered taste good...I will let you k ow....smh

Hear me out. This is probably one of the best restaurants out there in Virginia Beach if what you want are large portions. Alright, the location might not be appealing but you should give it a try. I'd suggest you not order the burrito since it's not too much. But, the rest is very good and it will satisfy your stomach and you. You might want some water while you eat to process and make a little bit more space in your body haha.
