Thats crazy work to even have ur doors open and then tell ppl that!! That legit rubbed me wrong only for her to say 🤷🏾‍♀️sorry!! WHATT!! First impressions are lasting impressions and because u were busy on a known holiday u close to reset Bae Bae thats crazy werk!

Valentine dinner with family started off well. We got seated early. 7:10pm. Reservation was 7:30pm. Restaurant downstairs area only half full. The food was good. The atmosphere and music was decent. Where it went wrong was the service. The special limited menu at $75 per person first red flag. I wanted options from the regular menu. Bummer. Special menu notice not posted online. Blind sided. Our server, Niyah, took order fine but forgot to bring or ask if we wanted water. Had to request it 3x. Ordered drinks came out ok. First course of Caesar salad was a sliced in half bunch of romaine lettuce grilled and drizzled with dressing and cornbread croutons. Half of our party asked for ungrilled. We waited 25 min for it. This is a quick and easy prep item. We should not have had to wait so long for it. Food (3 chicken and 1 salmon Cajun pastas.) Received it staggered and had to wait for others in party to get food. This dish was excellent. Service went down from there. Server basically abandoned us. Didn't check on us but once in another 35min. We had to flag her down for water. Didn't ask us for refills or drink requests. Eventually told us the dessert order was being worked on. We waited another 30 min before she informed us that the skillet cookies ordered would take another 20min. I responded that they should have been done already and told her to cancel them. They were out of the apple fritter option and it was early in the evening. She didn't ask if we wanted to replace the dessert with cheese cake to go. We had to ask for them. Waited another 20min and asked manager to intervene. We left around 9:15pm with a $350bill. Would have been worth it but the service and missing options ruined what could have been a great Valentine's dinner with my family. It's black history month and I try to support black business. This was a huge disappointment.

Was my first time going for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. While the environment was nice and we were quick to be sat down the wait for our food to arrive was ridiculous. We ordered an appetizer and our entree as soon as we arrived. It took about 30-40 minutes for each dish to come out for myself, longer for my boyfriend and when it arrived it wasn’t hot. I ordered the she crab soup and lamb chops which were both lukewarm. My boyfriend ordered the oysters and surf n turf and while his oysters were still relatively warm his steak was still mooing. While service was good the overall experience was a little upsetting, it doesn’t feel like a place I would return to 😔.

Randomly walked in to get lunch after swinging and missing at a place around the corner that served us something inedible. Should have stopped here first. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the vibe was impeccable. Thanks for saving the day.

Never open when Google says it. Tried to go 3 times back to back and haven’t been open. This is ridiculous.

We went for Restaurant Week, and I can't say enough good things about this warm, beautiful experience. The food was incredible- the fried deviled eggs, and the burger with pickled grilled jalapeños and truffle garlic fries were both unrivaled.
The service was top notch, and we even got to talk to one of the wonderful owners.
THIS is a business locals should support. I know we will be back- as often as possible!

My fiancé and I decided to randomly go to Ordinaire for a date night and it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Mrs.Green, the owner who immediately seated us. She made sure our table had intimate lighting and our server came shortly after to attend to us. The entire staff was polite and professional. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured and our server was very knowledgeable on every menu item we had questions about. The food was AMAZING!! OMG SO GOOD! I ordered She Crab Soup for my appetizer and for my entree; lamb chops, roasted brussel sprouts and mash potatoes. It was all seasoned to perfection and plated beautifully. I never ever ordered dessert at restaurants , but I decided to try the sweet potato bread pudding…LOST FOR WORDS! It was perfection! Overall Ordinaire is a 10/10 and the perfect choice for date night or any night when you’re looking for a classy vibe with great food and a family oriented staff.

Ordinare Restaurant offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere with affordable prices. The music was a little loud for my taste, but overall it added to the lively and enjoyable vibe.

I started with the apple brandy sour, and it was outstanding—easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening.

For my meal, I began with the she-crab soup, which was rich and flavorful. My main dish was The Thick Shorty—tender short ribs served over pasta with a house-made sauce—and it was absolutely delicious.

Dessert was the perfect finale: a sugar cookie baked in a personal-sized cast-iron skillet, topped with homemade ice cream. It was indulgent, warm, and the ideal way to end the meal.

Before leaving, I had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was incredibly kind and clearly hands-on—cleaning tables and making sure every guest had a great experience. That level of care really stood out.

Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend—this place is a must-visit.

I contacted the restaurant about 3 weeks before my actual visit, I communicated with the management team about reservation. Communication was not communicated properly, so when my party of 17 arrived we was set up in the open space that did not allow us to continue with our agenda as planned. The waiter keep forgetting to refill beverages, no silverware were set out so that we didn't have to continue to ask for them, one of the 1st guest arrived order a salad and was 1 of the last meals that came out. Being that our reservation was not done correctly we had a party of 2 seating in between guest that left us separately, the manager on duty ask if they could move which i felt was so unprofessional. They ran out seafood dip, one platter was brought out and was told they will bring out her other lamb chops, because they didn't want her food to get cold she never received it, another guest order salad that clearly states on your menu no cheese, but when it was served it had cheese. My suggestion is always planned accordingly for large parties.

GO, that is all I can say. It is HARD to find a meal out here these days where you literally have ZERO complaints. The chicken sandwich is PERFECTLY friend and served on brioche. THE FRIED SALMON BITES- MISSLE! We went back the VERY next day for one. Lam chops, tender. Mac and cheese tastes like your grandma made. This spot is a GEM. Hope they stick around!!!

First time at this lovely restaurant. Great customer service and the good was mind blowing. From the presentation to the mouth watering tast. Wow and agin WOW!! Had to park at the Main Hotel garage and work right across the street to the restaurant. It was very convenient $2.00 to park. Clean and inviting, its was a private birthday party upstairs. I will most definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

It was a nice set up but the waiter was terrible. We had a group of about 15 people we were all tight barely no room, one of the guess had to ask for a extra chair. He didn't ask anyone if they wanted anything else to drink, after offering everyone water. He bought my husband his salad without silverware to eat it with. I had she crab soup with no crackers or anything to eat it with as advertised on the picture. He finally bought these triangle bread things over after I was almost done and smiled about it with a smeark type smile. Food was delicious but I'm good. It's to expensive to have so many things happening. I really can't type it all.

I attended a family Christmas event and was sorely disappointed with my entire experience. First, as a senior citizen, I was shocked to find that the steps leading up to the upstairs area we were reserved in was dark and had no lighting. This is a safety hazard. I had to wait a very long time for my food (Cajun pasta), which, while flavorful, was cold. The service was also very poor. We were a large party of about 30 people, and we only had 2 servers at any given time. There were no utensils or napkins on the tables, and several people in our party had to get up and obtain their own water. The restaurant itself was also very cold. My daughter also never received the food she ordered, and when an order of wings did come (2 hours later), they were not what she ordered. Lastly, what was most upsetting was that I was accused by the staff of leaving without paying my bill. I am a woman of integrity. I would never do such a thing. I have the receipt that shows my bill was paid in full. This speaks to the overall disorganization of the staff. I don't think that this restaurant is adequately prepared for large parties. Smaller parties may fare better.

This was my first visit. party of 30. I was not impressed. The following is what I experienced: I had to go up a flight of steps to get to the venue and the steps were steep, and The area was not lit walls were dark which made the stairwell even darker. I ordered A flavored drink and it took over 40 minutes to receive my drink and it was not the right flavor I requested after three tries. I ordered early and my shecrab soup was too salty nor were there any crackers. I ordered my food and One of my lamb chops was medium rare Two of them were well done as ordered. Restaurant Closed by 8 PM on Sunday. Some customers were still receiving their food after 8:15. Some got the wrong food. Better manager organized planning and staffing needed. Possibly do buffet with a set price with pitchers of tea water napkins and eating utensils already on the table.
