I've been coming to PFranks for the past 11 years, and it's always been a perfect staple in Norfolk. Food consistently tastes great and is very reasonably priced. The staff has great energy, as most of them are ODU students. Tara, the owner, pours her whole heart and soul into making a fun environment for everyone. I started coming here about 2 years ago and it’s only gone downhill. Prices used to be very fair and service was excellent, along with that their cheapskate meal was amazing. Double cheeseburger with fries or tots and a Large drink for 12-14$, notice how I said 12-14, completely dependent on who’s ringing you up. Which at the time i had no issue with, just thought it was interesting. Over the course of the last few months i feel as though it’s changed completely, not just price wise. That is my main focus though, it started in that range and slowly went up, 12 to 16 for the same meal. I went there recently and ordered my usual, 17.67. Then the guy behind me ordered the same exact thing with EXTRA items on his meal, 14 dollars. When i asked why the discrepancy I was told that he didn’t order fries with his meal, I then watched him get handed his meal WITH fries. I honestly didn’t know what to say. I will not be going here ever again which honestly makes me sad because I love the food.

Perfectly Frank is a hidden gem right by ODU. 🌭 The food comes out fast, the prices are fair, and the hot dogs are legit some of the best in Norfolk. You can stack them up however you want — chili, cheese, sauerkraut, relish — and they don’t skimp on toppings.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a college-area spot: laid-back, funky, and welcoming. Whether it’s a quick lunch, late afternoon bite, or hanging with friends, it just hits right every time.
If you’re near campus and craving a hot dog, burger, or some chili cheese fries, this place will not disappoint. Definitely worth a stop.

Initially taken back with 15% tip added to all tickets. But we didn't receive just from our server. Every server there (5) was attentive to our table!! Drink refills, food delivery and checking on us!! The food and service was so good, I actually tipped 5% more!! And the food prices were lowest I paid in the last 5 years.

Literally the best and most affordable restaurant in the area. The staff are always amazing and great to talk to. Been coming here since 2019 and service has always been wonderful. Food is top notch. The daily deals are always worth it. Atmosphere is great. Secret sauce is insanely good and you can buy a bottle of it. There are 0 downsides to this restaurant.
