I visit your Ballentine Norfolk location and watch the cook re-fry some chicken! The cashier informed me that’s how they cook chicken here and asked had I ever been there before! I work at the college park location and never ever seen that done before! None the less the chicken was greasy and very stringy!!! This was on 6/09/2025 around 7pm!!! I think I use a little more gas and go to Farm Fresh on Newtown are spending almost $40 on that!!! This type of re-frying method is really a disservice to your customers!!!

Great place to visit for a good meal. I had the $10 Veggie Plate with mixed greens, sweet potato fries, cinnamon apples, and fried okra. It came with a corn muffin. All of the items were prepared very well, served hot and were very tasty.

I don't know what happened about the good service, atmosphere and food. I was impressed before but not now with this particular restaurant. I went into the restroom to was my hands and there was no soap then I went to the cashier and told her about it and she said oh I will tell someone about then shruged it off. Then I asked her again do you have any hand sanitizer I need to get my hands clean. She gives me three towelettes.
I ordered a large chicken gizzards I waited till they were cooked got them then I went out to my truck, opened the box and saw chicken liver, they were burnt.
I went back into the restaurant and told her I could of swear that I ordered chicken gizzards.
I waited again and went back to my truck and saw that theses were burnt to, or maybe the deap fryer has not been changed of grease.

The only thing i could think about while eating was Gordon Rasmsay. Just from receiving my plate i know its shortcuts being taken while preparing food.
