Omg. First off, the uber eats app said it was ready for pick up, it wasn’t. Not only have I been waiting for over 35min for a pick up order manager was terrible and so slow the two men in the back looked to be having more fun than cooking. The girl at the front was rude and her attitude stunk up the whole room. I wouldn’t not recommend this location.

After sitting waiting for a whole hour without ANY acknowledgement, I go up again to ask about my order and the lil girl didn’t even submit it. So I waited for literally NOTHING. Lil girl Playing on her phone whole time tho.

I love Pollards .. they've been a staple here in this area for many years. They've not fixed what wasn't broken. They are the best place for livers & gizzards left some town. Friendly & fast service in this location. Clean & not too busy the day that I stopped in. Food was cooked fresh & was very good. I'm glad they're still around! I had the mixed livers & gizzards plate w/mac & cheese & green beans. Delicious.. puffs are always a delight!

Stop eating here! Customer Service is not difficult I walked in to pick up an order. I do doordash every now and then. No one said Hello or how can I help you. The person at the front was wiping down the tablet screen at the counter. I said I have a pick up. She said what is the name & let me see your phone while holding her hand out as if I am supposed to give her my phone. The way she asked it is very clear she does this a-lot. I said no you cannot touch my phone. She made a smart remark & said that she wasn’t asking for my phone when clearly she was. Her hands were very nasty and dirty. She did not wash her hands before she grabbed the bag to hand me the food. The dirty cloth she was using to wipe down the screen has germs on it & so does her hands. She should
have had someone else grab the food or washed her hands. I’ve worked in restaurants plenty of times and took the class on food handling & serve safe procedures. This is disgusting. I have a picture of her going right back to clean the screen and never washing her hands. Her attitude, lack of customer service and professionalism is why small businesses cannot stay in business. This is unacceptable & unsanitary.

Growing up in Norfolk Pollard's used to be a nice treat. Went to Pollard's during this Xmas vacation after moving away in 2012 . It has gone down hill , it felt like an old friend died...

We've ordered from this location for years. I picked up a big order and purchased a dessert and asked "Riley" if I could have some hot sauce. He quickly dismissed me insisting "everything is in the bag" for a 12 piece meal. No condiments, utensils or honey was inside. It's not a big deal. What upset me was being dismissed at the register and pushed out the door by a smart-ass teenager. Crappy customer service. Let's see if "Kay" can fix this.

Took my teenagers there we had a taste for some fried gizzards..we basically went chicken hopping. Lol. They never had feather n fin nor church's. Pollards was our first stop.

Best fried chicken I’ve had. I’m new to Virginia. Crispy, crunchy, moist. Seems easy to describe but hard to find. Most people are getting take out. Tables aren’t super clean and the bathroom is more of a “for emergency only” type situation. Just do the take out and you’re good. Staff is friendly.

Pay your employees more so they will actually work please. It’s that simple. They are miserable. Being greedy with lead y’all to shutting down soon I promise.

The customer service here is terrible I used to order here a lot but this will definitely be the last time I order food from this location
