Ordered a 16 piece (just chicken) in advance and the food was ready for pickup at the requested time and hot. The chicken was tender and tasty, not over breaded or soggy. They are a well-known restaurant in the Hampton Roads area and awarded the best chicken in the area, which shows in the quality they provide. A little bit higher than the local grocery store, but worth the cost.

When Pollards hits, it hits. I got a tender dinner with green beans and Mac and the SO got the leg 1/4 special with greens and a baked sweet potato. Sometimes the soul needs to be fed.

We visited this restaurant primarily for their delicious desserts. They have a scrumptious coconut cake. I would advise not to visit an hour before closing as they secure the back area and they are stern about it. We had an active toddler that was walking around as we waited and a staff member approached us to remind us it was closed. We were not sitting, but the toddler neede to walk around a bit. This establishment is not kid friendly, as noted by a single high chair that needed...
