My very first visit to Press 626 was a very pleasant experience. Very quaint, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant , attentive and friendly wait staff. Very nice wine and food menu that were reasonably priced. Nice relaxing atmosphere and the food was well prepared.

We had a wonderful meal and drinks at the wine bar. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we chose to order several small plates to share, which was perfect. Very cozy and absolutely delicious! We'll be back :)

One of my favorites places ever. Service was amazing and food was absolutely delicious. Their miso honey salmon was the best one I've had this year. It was good on flavor and I love how the bottom was crispy but the rest of it was light and fluffy it was like a surprise and the noodles that went with it were AMAZING. For the drinks I ended up getting a wine flight, I wish they had some sweet reds but some of them were semi-dry which was really good and then I also LOVE the Thistle and Honey I am a sucker for old fashions so that drink was amazing. Their bread pudding was out of this world and I loved how they had a dessert wine which went PERFECT with the bread pudding💗

My fiancee and I moved to Norfolk about six months ago and Press 626 instantly became a favorite of ours. The food and drinks are always excellent and the atmosphere has a unique charm -- feeling both like an elevated dining experience and a relaxed neighborhood staple.
We recently booked Press 626 to host a private party celebrating our engagement and we were so happy with the entire experience. John met with my mom and I several weeks in advance to discuss the food and drink selection, music, and our vision for the party, and he took great care of us throughout the evening of our event. He greeted my fiancee and I with drinks at the door as we arrived and ensured that the night ran smoothly, keeping the buffet stocked and organizing a beautiful champagne toast. He and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive to myself and all of our guests. Press 626 truly gave us a night to remember, one that my fiancee and I will cherish forever.
Whether you are looking for a casual spot for a date night or a venue for a private event, I cannot recommend Press 626 enough!

They go above and beyond: I joined my book club ladies for dinner last night at Press 626. I have some mobility issues and was advised to take the back steps upon arriving. I was well assisted up the stairs and taken to our table. The servers could not have been more pleasant. When it was time to leave one of the female employees assisted me down the front steps and to my waiting car. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much.

WONDERFUL experience for our book club meeting! Upon our arrival, we were immediately seated at a great table that was cozy but also spacious considering it's not a super large restaurant. All of the staff that we interacted with were kind and checked on us throughout our dining experience. Our server was so nice (a fellow romance reader which we loveee) and the restaurant's host was kind enough to take photos of us (we love a mini photo shoot) Amazing food, dining experience and a beautiful location. We will be back!!

This is a beautiful little place. The decor and ambiance are great. The food was great and prices were pretty on par with other restaurants of the same type. Service was very good and everything came out promptly. My only complaints were that my $14 cocktail had a huge ice cube in the middle, which, while nice for aesthetics, really just served to make the drink itself much smaller and watered down. And the other was the inability to have separate checks for parties of more than 5 or 6, I can't remember which. We had a party of 7, which left us scrambling to pool our money to one place to pay the bill. Overall it was a great experience, and I would go again.
