Gem. We had kimchi patty melt. Dumplings. Goat cheese. Everything was exquisite. I am a diner patty melt purist... I generally object to patty melts that are not the 70 year old recipe. The kimchi patty melt actually gave patty melt and PACKED with layers of flavors. (A touch sloppy) Dumplings were delicious and flavorful and goat cheese was so insta worthy but I failed to let phone eat first . We are in the hood and have eaten here multiple times... Always upscale first class. The vibe at the bar is super hip. We have never been able to sit here until tonight. We don't come here enough it is such a fab place with a great creative menu.

I have been here a handful of times and to me, it’s a Norfolk staple. The food and drinks are always great and the happy hour is fantastic! I personally recommend the Pink Pony Club cocktail, Fried Mac and cheese, the Cheap Dates, and the duck confit grilled cheese! Not to mention the kick butt creme brûlée.

I’m going to be honest—this was my first time visiting, and at first glance, I expected it to be a bit full of itself. I WAS SO WRONG.
This turned out to be a genuinely great experience! Rachel, Maddie, Sean, and (I believe) John, the manager, were the reason we stayed longer and ended up trying as much as we could. Incredible service, warm people, and such a welcoming vibe. Even though we ended up closing the place down, we never once felt like a bother or that we were being rushed out.
I can’t wait to go back—especially since I live just up the street. They’re probably going to be sick of me soon. Press 626 Wine Bar, you’ve got a fan for life.
Some of the best food we’ve had since moving to the area! The vegetarian empanadas were delicious 🤤 The curry flavor pops! Fried Mac and cheese balls were yummy and had this roasted red pepper sauce that is sooo yummy! My bf had the kimchi patty melt. A half sandwich was plenty. Hard to eat as a hand held but very good flavor. The rosemary tots could use a lil more rosemary. Espresso martini was strong and delicious 😋 I had to have two of them! Yum yum yum! My bf had the old fashion and he loved it. We will definitely be back to try more!

One of my absolute favorite places in Norfolk. The food and drinks are excellent. The parking is surprisingly convenient considering the location. If you want to drink with your baby at the bar maybe go to Tap It 🤷🏻♀️

Wow, this place is amazing!! The achetectual detail is awesome. The restaurant is so pretty. Great indoor space main floor and second floor. Small outdoor space, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Esteban was great. Explained the menu during happy hour, which was 4pm-6pm. The food is amazing! The drinks are very tasty. Very nice wine list. Will definitely be back.
