We tried the Kempsville Road Punjabi Rasoi today as we learned they have recently opened at noon on Sunday (we are part of the after church crowd). Both my husband and I have lived in London (we met there). This restaurant today *was* our London experience with Indian food, something we never thought we would find in the States. Short of going to Mumbai itself, it does not get more authentic than this. Thank you, Punjabi Rasoi!

I love this place and order often. I recently became vegetarian and love that Indian food has such a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. The flavors of every dish I have tried at this restaurant do not disappoint. The only thing that would make it better is if the chef could live with me and make it for me every day.

We have a favorite restaurant in Redmill but we decided to try this restaurant because it came highly recommended and it's much closer to home. Everything was delicious. The meat was tender, the spice was perfect, and the chilli garlic naan was to die for! Looks like we have a new favorite restaurant now!
