Man when I say the food here is good. My daughter had put me on to this places. The chicken sandwich and chicken tender are amazing. But the texas toast bread with the the Cane's sauce. I can't put that into words. It's that good. They can be busy at times. But the food is definitely worth the wait. I just found out they closing some locations. If you haven't tried them. I definitely recommend to do so.

Esthetic was really nice and the employees were very nice and welcoming. The food came out fast and hot definitely best service I have had in a while.

Visiting out of town. This was our 1st time trying this restaurant. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. The chicken strips tasted as if they had no seasoning. The best was their special sauce and toast. The fries are ok if they’re hot and coleslaw is subpar. Parking is terrible, but is expected due to the restaurant being in a college area.

Not a great places. Terrible customer service. I Order some food on my Grubhub. And I ask my friend is he could pick it up for me, since I was unable to. However, the people who work their did not gave him my food even though he had screenshot and I gave him permission to pick up my order. I had to call Cane's to tell them I have given my friend permission to pick up my food. They told me to tell my friend for the order number and my friend name. Once I told my friend that, he went back to Canes and they still haven't gave him the food until he mentioned that I called. This is unacceptable. I think Canes should let other student pick up their friends food. Other ODU fast food restaurants doesn't have this problem. Fix it. And fix your worker attitude.

Tbh the mask forcing is not cool they should provide me a mask if I don't have one and the food was good

Food was really good and always is good but they force mask when the workers halfway wear mask or none of the cooks wear them but I've seen people get kicked out for entering without one, not sure what's going on there. Also asked to sub the coleslaw for an extra sauce which is FREE and they charged, I brought it up and they acted like they didn't know their own menu. It's just one of those places that make great food but service is awful. Workers are clueless to everything and cashiers are pretty bad

The food was very good. We chose to come here because we liked our previous visit. The mask requirement created an unpleasant moment while waiting in line for our takeout order because there was a man there to pick up a food order and because he did not have a mask on his face he was called out on the fact that he didn't have a mask. It creates sadness an uncomfortable feeling. I hope that the mask requirement is removed.

Who doesn't love chicken tenders? I'm a little kid at heart and when in doubt, I chicken tender it out. Tenders were great - juicy, crunchy and filling. Their sauce was the bee's knees. The staff? Incredibly rude. The guy was rushing me to finish my order. I had never been, it was first time. I'd like to think based on my confused expression and hesitation to immediately order, that it would indicate that. He was impatient and not helpful. The business is pretty far out for us, so I can't say we'll be back soon. The food was good, and if I find myself in the area, I'd come here despite the employee's attitude. A little pricy so it'd be a once in a blue moon stop. A Caniac - 6 chicken tenders, crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, cole slaw (we subbed it for extra fries), two sauce cups and a drink is more than enough food for one, but also enough to share with someone. Though the price of it may sway you to share one.

My brothers wanted to get food with us as soon as we got back into town. They're always raving about this place and so we decided it was finally time to try it. My husband went with 'the boys' and brought our food home while I hung out with the kiddos. Honestly, it's probably best eaten immediately after purchase. That may have made all the difference, but the location is just so far from us. The caniac was a lot of food, easily shared among two people. Their sauce is addicting and I could see people looking for more reasons to keep dipping until their little cup is empty. I'm a one packet kind of sauce person, but I'd easily put away a few cups if given free reign. The chicken wasn't as crispy as I'd imagined but it was still juicy. The bread on the side was weird to us, but it was really pleasant to nibble on and instead of coleslaw we got extra fries which I recommend for more dipping opportunities. I'm not sure if we'd be back anytime soon, especially since we're not close to the area, but it's a decent place to add on the 'we haven't been here in a long time, want to eat there?' list.

Staff is friendly, restaurant looked clean and even though they were busy they had our orders out quickly. keep in mind as of right now this location does require masks, so make sure you bring one or you may not be served!

I ask for the table to be clean to help stop Covid-19 and I get the table is stained so this is in the odu area

I am astonished by only a 3.5 star rating here but my experience was absolutely 5 stars. Food was great, I had no problem with the staff and I was impressed by how clean the establishment was. My family lives out in Vegas and we are all true Cane fanatics, "caniacs" if you will... It's a rare gem to find here on the East Coast so my husband and I stop by every chance we get! We read about this location since we were flying into town Black Friday, I called the establishment to ask what their Thanksgiving weekend schedule was like. They politely went over the daily schedule and said they were closed Black Friday but opened that Saturday and Sunday. We opted to go on Sunday before our flight back. On to the food... It was prepared just as I remembered- chicken's outside was crispy, inside was Juicy, and the Canes sauce tied everything together. Always a plus that their fries are crinkle cut... Idk what it is but it's my favorite and makes all the difference. Got the 3-piece tender meal and I was more than happy. Spot on and just like I recall every trip we took in Vegas. Sidenote, It's still 2021 and though we are vaccinated, COVID variants are still looming around so I really appreciated that the staff enforced everyone to wear a mask and be social distanced while on line.

A smaller place that I know but the chicken is always on point. Great toast

First time and came because of the hype. From the looks of it, the location can use a little consistency. My chicken was definitely cooked a while ago, as the chicken was a bit stringy and Lukewarm. I see other people's toast were burnt, etc. Good food for sure. Reminds me of Zaxby's

My husband and I decided to visit after I saw a tik tok about this place. My tenders were really fresh and delicious combined with the sauce.
