My vegetable masaman curry tasted like pineapple soup. I didn't even know pineapples came with the soup, I wouldn't have ordered it... I have a sensitivity to pineapples, so $20 wasted.

Excellent !! Norfolk is lucky to have such fine Thai cuisine downtown. Been here several times now .... always happy. Food well prepared and served hot ... as it should be.You should try it. ??

They will not ever answer the phone so making a to go order is impossible. The food is decent but curry is a little too thin for me. I do like the dumplings though.

This place is beyond Perfect. We stopped here for lunch leaving VA Beach headed back to Baltimore MD. The service was great and the food was spot on. We ordered dishes to go so we could have it for dinner in Baltimore.

I've been eating here for 5 years and it was my favorite restaurant in the area when it was Rama Garden. Unfortunately, it is under new ownership, now called Tida. When I called to order they insisted the food and chef were the same as before, that the new owner is the former owner's son and the food hasn't changed. This was outright bull. The food went from awesome to abysmal. The Tom kha soup was inedible. Tasted like water with an overwhelming flavor of scallion and nothing else, disgusting. The 4 noodle dishes were bland and overcooked. The wonton soup was watered down and flavorless too. We even ordered two large servings of each soup because we like to have extra for later in the week. A $90 lunch went in the garbage based on dishonesty of the staff. We would have eaten elsewhere (or at the least, ordered half as much food to try out) if we'd known they had changed everything. Unbelievable.

Beef pad Thai had a weird sweet sauce and bland appearance. Beef was tough and stringy. Rice for curry was mushy. Crispy spring rolls were very greasy. It’s Take out only right now and the interior of the restaurant was messy with a million signs that just came off as unwelcoming. Maybe we just hit it on a bad day because other reviews look great. Everything about the experience was sub par.

Got the drunken noodles ordered them a 5/5 spicy they were fantastic. Glad I didn't let the other reviews steer me away from them. I also got crab rangoon which was delicious.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for several years now. It was one of the only places I trusted for takeout during the uncertain times of the pandemic. The staff is VERY KIND.. they have excellent customer service! The food is consistent and delicious. Great portion sizes. I usually go with Panang curry with tofu and we always do spring rolls. Rama Garden never disappoints! Proud to support them! Great job always.

The food was mediocre. Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles had way too much seasoning making it too salty. The Tom Yum soup didn't really taste like Tom Yum soup...it was missing something. The noodles could also use more garnishing. They didn't have much garnishing compared to other Thai places. Also, they didn't come with lime on the side which is common at the places I've been to. The side I did ask for which was spice, they forgot to add. (Ordered to go)

The beef salad was $10 for lunch. Portion was tiny and the beef was super salty. Drunken noodles Wawa just alright m, decent portion as well. Too much sauce though

Best Thai we’ve ever had.... and we’ve eaten a lot of Thai. The pad see ew with beef, Tom ka soup, pad Thai, spicy fried rice and steamed dumplings were just outstanding ????

The food is pretty good but ,in my opinion, the portion sizes aren't worth the price. Everyone is very nice who works there! They also have nice outdoor seating.

Best Thai food that I've had in Norfolk! The thick noodles taste homemade and the spice is always perfect. Crab rangoons are the best I've had in town too.

This food may be good bu Norfolk standards, but they would be arrested for serving this in New York or DC. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and veggie spring rolls for pick up tonight. When I walked in, it was sitting on the bar and there was no one to be seen. I yelled to the back several times and the cook saw me, but got no answer and no employee arrived. Classic Pad Thai has chopped peanuts, fresh bean sprouts and shredded carrots in addition to green onion and peanuts at a minimum. Their version had only green onion and peanuts The shrimp had the tail on, making them very messy to eat. They are also not deveined. That thin, slimy black thread running down the middle of the shrimp is its digestive tract. If the thought of eating shrimp "***** completely grosses you out, don't order it here. It is probably farm raised, which most likely means it was processed with slave labor.
