Located in the Marriott Waterside Norfolk Hotel, it is convenient from any location downtown or near the waterfront. Great atmosphere with excellent food and service. The waitstaff was truly exceptional and went out of their way to serve.

Great location and beautiful scenery, valet parking was declined but learned it was part of their services when dining at the MARRIOTT. It was shared to the manager that I was declined he offered to pay for my meal in exchange then he return back an Marriott has a code for garage so I was compensated. Milton was awesome - thanks! Attending a birthday dinner celebration that was about 20 plus ALL LADIES! I think any man would agree when serving a woman have your s*** together be there best of all to be. Never send a new, slow or waiter who can't remember orders, requests or make good recommendations...you're setting them up for failure. I ordered an Cobb salad and specifically asked if it came with onion (if so do NOT put on salad). We learned they were huge so we asked to cancel one order he refused, we order before 8 people yet our order was 4th from last. Cobb Salad came out with raw onions. I return an his response was I'll just have them scrap them off. I'm like NO I'm allergic please keep and we will share so he suggest I I have them remake it. They did an I'm now the ultimate lady person to get my food, I order side of steam broccoli that came out cold so I added it to the salad. Not one time did waiter asked if we needed anything or how was our food, he was all over the place. The help was not any better she brought my salad out an place it in the windowsill (disgusting-germs). We had a good time, many were pleased with their food and portion size, drinks were okay. Sitting out on the extended room, the ventilation was noisy, cold an unattractive. It was hard for us to communicate amongst each other with the noise an cool air.

First time here for me and my friend. Got there just before happy hour and were the only people in the restaurant. Waited long for the food??? We ordered mozzarella cheese and pesto on flat bread. Strange thing: they used unmelted small hard cheese squares on the flat bread and the pesto was served sepretly, shouldn't they cook all the ingredients together...had no taste. My friend ordered chicken salad; the biggest salad, each ingredient had it's own section on the large plate, cold chicken served in a separate plate, and dressing separate. Strange thing: shouldn't they mix all the ingredients together, i don't recall any restaurant serving fresh salad this way. High price for a confused chef - not returning because of the way the food was served and the long wait. Good servers.

Went there Sat Feb 15th at 7pm. Called at noon the same day to make a reservation and the hostess said that she would try to get us in because they were slammed. Showed up at 7pm and the restaurant was slow. Only 2 other tables were occupied in our section. We are getting ready to order and my wife and I were only there for the Rib Eye. Next thing out of the servers mouth, "we ran out of Rib Eye and Prime Rib". Ugh, we ordered the Filet Mignon and the New York. Both were good but we really wanted the Rib Eye.

Went there for Valentine's and was not good. Booked a table got there and the table they first tried to sit us at was the hall way going into restaurant. When we declined was seated downstairs. When seated ordered a bottle of Moet took 25mins before it came to the table. Food was terrible coleslaw was sour crab cakes where tiny and burnt Asked for manager when she came had attitude but did take off one meal. Nothing Valentine about the place. Been serval times prior but will pass next Valentine's

My husband and I were so disappointed in this restaurant. We both ordered the filet and it had a foul taste. We only ate a few bites because we were afraid we would be sick. The fries were cold and the mac & cheese was inedible. The waitress couldn't tell me the vegetable of the day. I told her anything but broccoli and carrots would be fine but I preferred asparagus. She brought me a medley of broccoli, carrots, squash, and cauliflower. I believe they were frozen because they were cold and had no flavor. My baked potato was undercooked and hard. To top it off, my Moscato was flat with a bitter taste. It should be sweet and have some fizz. We will NEVER eat there again and don't recommend it!

Located in the Marriott, Shulas is a great choice if you’re looking for a good steak or burger! Prices are reasonable considering it’s Shulas and near the waterfront.

I expected a classier environment and better food. My filet was certainly not prime. It wasn’t bad, but for the price you might as well find a nearby Outbacks.

Went here and spent about 85$ on food that wasn’t worth the price. The mashed potatoes were very clearly heated up in the microwave because they were cold in the middle and warm at best on the outside. The seasonal vegetables were cold and mushy and had 0 flavor; no butter, no salt just limp boiled veg. I got the filet mignon and it’s like the cook doesn’t even know what he’s doing, I asked for medium rare and it came back half medium and half done. Like bro how you cook a filet so unevenly? If you’re thinking about a nice dinner try somewhere else; don’t let the fancy pictures fool you this is just a sports bar.

I really hate to leave a review like this but I was VERY disappointed! I made reservations for almost 20 people (3 of the people there we were celebrating their birthday I was one of them) and the manager and staff were very aware of this.. We had people from out of town come down just for this bday dinner, they were also aware of that and 2 of them happened to be food critics once again aware of all these things, yet they were not able to get it together. I understand the amount of people for our party but it took an hour and a half for only half of the tables for to come out. One of the guest never even got there food and ended up leaving without even eating! Almost every single person at that tables order was wrong... the worst part was the order that was messed up the worst was one of the birthday girls... I BIG issue is that one person ordered a burger, simple enough right, wrong he ordered a mushroom burger and they brought him a different burger, he said that fine no problem just make me the mushroom burger, and within one second the waiter comes back with a mushroom burger, little did we know because we had so many people and it was a huge table the waitress literally took the mushroom burger from the other end of the table that someone already had touched and put mayo on it and gave it to the other guys at the other end of the table. He was furious 1 being that they gave his the wrong food to begin with and 2 they have him another person's burger that someone else touched already because they had put a ton of mayo on it witch was the ONE thing the other guys said please make sure NO MAYO... it was just not good all the way around, EVERYONE who ordered salmon was VERY disappointed its was soooo dry most of it was sent back. It was really a blow to the night and the 3 birthday folks.. I am sorry to say I wouldn't recommend this place at all :(
