I will always love steak and shake. I travel to get to this one because it's literally the only one I'm Hampton Roads but the ordering process stinks, you can't customize and it takes forever for the food. Still will go because I love steak and shake but this experience isn't the best

Waiting for a shake here is not the greatest. They mess up orders and forget about yours. Sometimes, it happens. It's food service, so there's grace, but something tells me their system isn't very efficient.

Waited 20 minutes for my basic standard order of a dbl cheese w/fries. After finally getting my order I asked for a fresh Root Beer. The server insisted on handing me a drink that was sitting on the counter. I asked again for a fresh drink and she said no this is the freshest Im going to get. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. This location at the Webb center needs attention and better customer service

The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 5 is because they charge for drink refills. For a drink that costs 2.50$ it is highway robbery to the fact that they don’t let you refill it. Food was amazing but the fact that you can’t refill your drink totally ruins the experience.

Food quality is SLAMMING! Best chili cheese fries I’ve ever had. It would be helpful to update hours for accuracy though
I'm going to this place a few times because the bowling alley where I bowl is right behind it. However when I went last there was only a female there and I specifically indicated what I wanted on my steak sandwich two times and what I didn't want. When I got home they were onions on it and I cannot eat onions. I will not be going there again when she is there.
