Its late looking for a quick bite to eat and was recommened this place that had full of potential but i dont know if its a Virginia thing or what to have your store hours on the website and your front door to say you close at a particular time which is 11pm we walk in about 10:30pm just wanting to place a to go order and quick drink while we wait and immediatelty that most unprofessional manager on 10 lines of coke just a scronny little thing was just so nasty and saying they are closed even though the hours of operation says otherwise and we were really looking forward to it just her customer service was so disapointing never again. Thanks for nothing and happy freakn holidays to you too miss rude lady and further more if you can read we clearly seen the chairs up and have worked in a restaurant before if you like that your employees close your establishment early meaning there is a cap to the money you make then thats on you and your business yes it deserved a 1 star due to how rude and unwelcomed she made us feel cause she was ready to go home cause “ its almost that time “ while NORFOLK TAP HOUSE on the same street fed us with no complaints and awesome customer service guess that shows different business mentality yall should work on customer service and how you all talk to people as we’re vistors and was not to be treated like an unwelcomed guest thank you and no she didnt apologize and if she wasnt so rude trying to cut me off while i was talking she would of heard thatvi was asking for a togo menu and what are the times or holiday hours since THE DOOR states otherwise now but we could not even get that but thanks sir/mam you sure know how to pick your employees

Streats is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! Great inclusive and always friendly and welcoming service, with new specials added every night. For drinks and a few small plates, or a traditional full dinner menu, Streats is sure to please any palate!

Small, boring salad. Served without dressing for $21. Staff nowhere to be found when needed. Unremarkable overall

A small hidden gem in Norfolk you shouldn't miss. Parking is usually such a hassle in Norfolk but there's a grocery store right across the street so there's tons of free parking! And for all the artsy folks or couples looking fun a fun date night, they do different crafts every Tuesday! We had loaded perogies that were delicious and surpising light! Their salmon blt was amazing and was an actual piece of salmon filet, not some patty. Their bread pudding was absolutely decadent and definitely big enough to share. It was hard to choose what to eat since they had so many good options! Their martini list spanned the whole spectrum up flavors you could want so I had to try a couple and loved each one. My husband loved the fresh mint he got with his cocktails!

Went here for a quick bite with some friends. It was a cute little restaurant tucked in between other businesses. The service was a little slow, but overall it was a pleasant time. Our server was doing the best they could with their staffing.

We tried brussel sprouts, buffalo cauliflower, pierogis, fish and chips, and their signature fries. Everything tasted great. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly but then sunk into a bowl of vinegar. It was like soup and ruined the sprouts for me. The fries were really good. The buffalo tofu and cauliflower were cripspy and so delicious I still think about it. The pierogis were amazing! They were perfect in every way. The fish was off so we were not impressed but I don't think the fish is normally like that looking at other pics. Service was very slow and the food took awhile. Despite that we definitely plan on returning.

Great food, always a big specials menu for some surprises - probably the most delicious food you can get in a 10 Mi radius after 11:00 p.m.

Staff is personable and attentive, they also have a nice little Outdoors area when the weather is good. The cocktails are always on point and it's basically a go-to of my group whenever we want to get something that's better than regular bar food especially late

Awesome vegan options! I'm always a bit nervous when a place boasts vegan options in addition to a full menu, scared of getting stuck with a flavorless salad or bowl of beans, but at Streats that wasn't at all the case! They had awesome 1:1 subs (i.e. tofu for meat) for several dishes, a beyond burger, and a handful of additional options that were naturally vegan. Sweet and accommodating service, eclectic interior, clean bathrooms, and great indoor & outdoor seating. An extensive cocktail menu is the cherry on top! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to dine at a "one size fits all" place; perfect for a family with a variety of dietary restrictions or an stress-free date night. Cheers!

I visit Streats regularly because they consistently offer an outstanding dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is impeccable. It's also one of the cleanest restaurants I've seen. The menu features a diverse selection of delicious, expertly prepared dishes that cater to almost every palate. Every meal I've had there has been a delight, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative flavors. I highly recommend Streats for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a fantastic setting.

This was jewel of a find. Love the fun laid back atmosphere. Great place to hang and eat with family and friends. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and nice variety to satisfy everyone. Love that there are vegan options. I had the beyond burger which was grilled that reminded me of a backyard grilled burger. My husband had the vegan tacos and my daughter had the vegan general tso’s tofu. All delicious! Will be back could become a regular if I lived in the area.

Vegetarian options: Beyond burger is awesome. BB-Q tofu tacos and general tso’s tofu! All delicious. The fried artichoke hearts were great plenty to share.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, non dairy, plant based and vegetarian

Pretend you've never had a burger before and you walk into a restaurant thinking the a lamb and hamburger burger won't be the most amazing experience.
Then get the StrEATS immediately. Get yourself a burger with goat cheese, caramelized onions, bacon marmalade, and you're welcome. You can send me Christmas cards every year in memory of bot just that burger sensation but the StrEATS fries and make damn sure you ask for the extra special dipping g sauce which is sour cream with duck sauce on top. Don't judge before you've tried it. Wash it down with the perfect Dark & Stormy. Merry Christmas in August or any day of the year. And yes, the rest of the menu is superlative as well. Chef Mike is badass. And the StrEAT sauce for the fries is called "Crack sauce" for a reason.
