We met old friends and had a great lunch - beautiful view and excellent service by John and Lisa! The crab dip was so delicious, table also enjoyed the crab cake platter, Fightin’ Chair pasta with shrimp & scallops. Big fresh salads. What really made our visit was the friendly staff!

We had the pleasure of having our military reunion dinner at Stripers on 11/8/25. Jim and his staff went out of their way to take care of our large group of 45+. I should have checked the reviews before we went here, but upon entrance waterside, we saw the beauty of the water. The restaurant was not nowhere near full capacity. There was a large group there prior to us being seated at the bar and it appeared approximately 20 minutes after we received it they had received their food
Courtney made our drinks which were strong and good! We also ordered our food which were appetizers at the same time. This was around 6:05 PM October 18, 2025.
My daughter ordered oyster Rockefeller, and bacon wrapped scallops: The scallop was cooked as much as the bacon was cooked, which was to a done done, which was overdone for scallops The oyster rockafellar had the appearance of sea monster sitting on top of the oyster.
I ordered an order of the oysters as well. They have boxed everything up because it was an hour and 15 minutes after we had placed our order and we still have not received our food. When I went to the restroom, I didn’t know. My girlfriend had asked Courtney to see how much longer it would take for the food to come out because we were going to a concert and we thought that we had got them plenty of time to eat relax and go to the concert. When I came out the restroom, I asked Courtney the same thing she supposedly went to go check to see how long it was gonna take and never came back.
By the time she return some person from I assume the kitchen came out to apologize as to our late and State that they were giving us a free dessert. I told Courtney when I opened up the box didn’t touch it didn’t eat it that I was not going to pay for the oysters they didn’t look right. Her response to me was “Well you ordered IT”! When I tell you, I’ve never seen oyster Rockefeller like this ever in my life. I still have them in the box. I intention take a picture of it and upload it. I showed it to my grandchildren who normally eats our leftovers. They did not wanna touch it and my dog wouldn’t even come near it. My daughter got sick either off the scallops or the oyster Rockefeller.
Not one time did someone say we’re short staff. About 25 minutes to 30 minutes of waiting Courtney did say she was going to check to see how long she came back that time and said your food shall be coming out shortly. Here we are waiting an additional 35 minutes.
The other items that was ordered was lemon pepper, wings, and fries, shrimp, she crab, soup, and crab dip.
The only actual hot items was the fries, the shrimp. Everything else was lukewarm.
The free dessert was cheesecake. We were never asked if anybody has dietary restrictions where you can’t eat cheese or milk, we weren’t even asked if we like cheesecake or wanted the cheesecake as restitution for us sitting and waiting for lukewarm food for over an hour.
I have never been to a place that if you tell the person that you didn’t like your food, it didn’t look or smell right to send it back or you never touched it and said you was not gonna eat it and was giving the food back that you were insulted And told you ordered the food so you now have to pay for the food.
This will not be the last of me stopping with this Google review. This review will be posted on all forms of my social media, including pictures. If I can find the location and phone number of the corporate office, I will be sending them a formal letter.
If you ever think about eating at this location, DON’T!!!!
