Coming from someone who worked at a penny pinching restaurant, this place is VERY obviously pinching pennies, potentially at the cost of their customers. First off, they have a big metal sheet that conveniently covers their meat/cheese section to where you can’t see. I first assumed this was so that they could give you less portion without you being able to see. Then we get to the vegetables and I had to opt for spinach because the lettuce was straight up brown and way past needing to be thrown out. Same with the tomatoes. When I realized that THIS is the section they choose you allow you to see, I realized they’re intentionally hiding the meat/ cheese because it’s most likely also gone bad. Another tell-tale sign of penny pinching is that they only used half a sticker to wrap my sub (photo included for context) which I know is something very small to complain about, but if you can’t even afford to give me a full sticker, what else are you hiding/being cheap about? Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip as if they’re not paid hourly wage smh

I placed an order online for two foot- long, steak and cheese subs, and went into to pick it up; I got the order and went home. When I got home I noticed the sandwiches were not the way I made them. Mine had the default toppings on it (which shouldn't not have been because I had saved the sandwich as a favorite on the app, and only had to hit a button to add it to cart as I had previously done dozens of times before); the other sandwich was missing provolone. When I went to the store to point this out, a worker emerged from the back immediately defensive in tone and body language to confront me. I had pointed out a sandwich was missing provolone, and he said, "no you did not order provolone". Looking at my receipt online I did, but in the store the circumstances had me flustered and uncomfortable so I say, "I guess it doesn't". I point out that my sandwich is not the way I had put it in on the app, but he said "I just made what the receipt said, what do you want me to do?" Which is true, so I said to him "I understand that, but there was an app error so can you remake the sandwiches?" He was stubborn despite my elaboration, "No I can't, so what do want me to do ?" Im not really sure what other solution he wanted out of me other than to turn around and leave, but I had comeback with "I paid for two sandwiches I am not going to eat, what do YOU want ME TO DO as a customer?" He explained his boss was watching, but magically was able to give me a correctly made 6 inch sub, 1/4th of what I originally ordered. All of this happened while his co-worker smiled and laughed with him. To put icing on this cake, I had used my points I had been saving for months and I feel like I wasted it. My long term faith in subway as a brand has been tarnished because it seems like there's too many chiefs and the chain lacks consistency. This is not my home subway, so I'm more akin to more accomodating and understanding customer service. It seems to work with other nationwide chains, so I thought subway should be no different. I am wrong, each subway is a different experience for better or for worse.
Every time I go to this Subway it’s always a problem. They don’t understand English & the portion sizes are extremely small. I chicken protein bowl with 1/2 scoop of chicken- not worth $14:00.I asked why it was so small & he didn’t understand what I was asking. I go to other Subways frequently & the portions are far bigger & they speak English. I’ll drive 20 minutes next time before I was 2 minutes from my house.

Poor customer service the sandwich maker was rude to my wife and poorly made her sandwich. If you're unhappy with your job thats your fault you chose to work there don't take your anger about the poor life decisions you have made that led you to work at subway out on paying customers and their food.

I came in for a sub and the manager was rude and yelling and did not even give me a chance to look at the menu. The way she yelled the customers and other employee even turned their heads. I left this store, i did not want that bad energy on my meal.
