Eclectic and quirky restaurant for authentic, delicious Southern food, with an emphasis on fresh seafood. I got the pork platter, and my husband got the shrimp gumbo. Both were excellent! The space is decorated with eccentric but fun decor, and our server was very friendly. Skip it if you’re in a rush; it’s the kind of place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a great meal.
Stopped in with high hopes—great ambiance, super friendly service, and a nice mix of well-dressed patrons and laid-back diners (I rocked shorts and a t-shirt, no judgment).
We ordered the flounder and gumbo; both were fine but lacked the savory depth we expected. Not a spice issue—just needed more richness to bring the flavors to life.
The cheese appetizer was a hit, and the coconut dessert absolutely nailed it.

SyD took the time to develop me into a sous chef and I thank him for that. The job was fast paced and overall pretty wild. Syds a cool dude but can be like norfolks Gordon Ramsey when stressed.. overall good guy
