He owner, Syd is a gem, his original art graces the walls of this eclectic establishment. The food is Devine. I ate there the two nights I was in town , just because I wanted more.
This is the restaurant that I ever enjoyed everything. Food was unique and had amazing taste, service was excellent, chocolate desert, I do not know how to describe it! So delicious, yet not heavy! It is so tasteful that you will never forget the taste. I have been living in the US for 23 years, the best restaurant I ever enjoyed everything I had. Chef, thank you so much for such a delightful food and atmosphere that your restaurant serves. Your servers are also great individuals!
Syd’s is a rad spot in downtown Norfolk. We were traveling through and docked right up the street waiting out a weather window, and so pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this gem. We ended up eating there 2 nights in a row and would have gone 3 if he was open Sundays. This eclectic restaurant has delicious food, great vibes and excellent service.
