Dosa, Samosa and Chaat with chickpeas. Tasty with spicy flavor but not excessive heat...saices were an accompanying zing. Great service and pleasant setting.

I went there to have North Indian snacks. To be honest, they were good for the price they were offering. This restaurant was recommended to me by many of my friends so I had to go there. I didn’t like the Dosa and feel like it barely represented what it should have been. I also had here, and it’s a must try if you want something not too spicy, but equally tangy.

My favorite lunch spot! With fast and friendly service, plus the ability to order online, I've been trying something different on the menu each time I go, and everything has been delicious so far. Lots of variety, even in the vegan options!

We spent a little over $25 a person, $75 for the 3 of us. If you already like Indiana food, your taste buds will not be satisfied with this place. If you have never had Indiana food, this place will not make you feel like you've missed out on anything. The food was fast food style. Our food was on our table within 2 minutes after ordering, everything was okay at best. I would only go back if every other Indian restaurant was closed. The customer service was 1 thumbs up. If you're taking the time to read reviews, this place will not cut it. If you just walk by and walk in, why not find out yourself. Also, most of the menu is vegan. There's a couple things with chicken, besides that it's all vegetarian.

We were expecting a lot more from this restaurant, but unfortunately it was like a cafe but with the prices of a sit-down restaurant. The small dining room was completely full when we arrived, so we had to wait outside in the cold until a table got freed up. Our food was served on paper plates with plastic utensils, was very bland, and absolutely not worth anywhere near the $50 we paid for it. The sides that came with my husband’s butter chicken was plain rice and cucumbers with slivered onions… very strange. We also found out at the end that they had switched our naan orders, so I ended up eating butter naan instead of the vegan garlic naan. The servers had no clue what food went to which table, and went around asking every table if this was their meal. Overall very disappointing, we would’ve been much better off going to a nicer Indian restaurant where we would’ve paid the same price for higher quality and a larger quantity of food.

Tamarind serves great Indian food. It has all the flavors you expect. My favorite is chicken biryani. My wife loves the Chaat Papdi and the rose dessert. My only criticism is $18 for chicken biryani should have a larger portion or cost much less. Indian street food is supposed to be cheap. However the food is great!

Oily /greasy food-Decent food but pretty oily.Dahi Puri was dry and there wasn't really any Yoghurt inside, just drippings on top. Pav bhaji Dosa had good flavor from the bhaji but chatni did not seem fresh - it had water separating from it. Bhaji was still a bit too oily. Also, the Gulab Jamun was dry.Heads up - you order at the counter and pay first, you have to bus your own table and get your own water.

Amazing food at an even more stupendous prices. Try the dahi puri, they are pre-made puffs with an amazing zing and flavor profile. Then eat whatever else you want to try. The veggie menu is VERY good, this is our favorite Indian place in the area.

I liked this restaurant and food until I had a bad experience. Let me narrate the incident. One fine weekend I went there for late Lunch. I ordered masala dosa. The food arrived after a reasonable wait. I was very hungry and wanted to eat as fast as possible. But I couldn't. At first take, I noticed onion shell/outer-peel tucked inside the dosa. I reported that to the Owner. He just looked and gave the justification in Hindi - "Jaldii mein ho gayi galati" (A hasty mistake).I was ok with the justification but expected a remedy as replacement of the food with a fresh one, which unfortunately didn't happen. Since then I stopped to go to this restaurant.Hope they improved on the Hygiene, otherwise the taste of Food is really good there.
