We came in late not realizing it was so near closing time. We felt they were glad to wait on us and even told us not to hurry. It was so nice to go somewhere we really felt welcomed and the staff was glad to serve us. The food was excellent as usual. The crew that was working late on 3/7 deserve praise from their bosses. This is a crew that is very polite, and make people want to return.

Every time I order for delivery, my order gets messed up. It’s happened EVERY time, and I come back later to pick up the missed items after work (instead of a credit, which is my choice), but it’s such an inconvenience when I’m somewhere I can’t leave. If you’re ordering in person, I definitely suggest going!

I have always loved Taste. Great sandwiches and salads. The deli section is my fave. I would avoid the 21st st (Norfolk) location. Every single person that was working looked and sounded like they hated life.

I don’t go to Taste a lot because for me it’s a little bit too expensive to eat there regularly so I think if it as a little treat, y’know? Today I decided to get a sandwich and ordered online. I got home and was sad to see they forgot my avocado which was an extra charge and left out my extra pickles. I called to ask if I could just come back and pick up what was missing on the side and Taryn was phenomenal. Not only did they offer to make me an entirely new sandwich but Taryn also personally made it to make sure everything was correct. I work really close to this location and will definitely be making an effort to go back more frequently, especially if Taryn is still around!

This place seems like a nice place to hangout and have a drink, but the food itself is mid for the price. Seems like they’re more interested in trying to be a gourmet shop.Also, it’s really weird to me that they don’t have a selection of coffee products. Seems like an easy win for a place selling sandwiches.

My husband and I wanted to ship some of their market items to family for Christmas. We had three different baskets of items going to three different states. It could have been stressful but Ruth, who I’m guessing is the manager, walked us through the entire process and was SO helpful and kind. Some of the best service we have received in a while. Not to mention, the lunch we ate after being helped by Ruth, was so good, per usual. Cannot say enough about this place. Thank you, Ruth!
