I just love the feeling I get when I walk into Tealux Cafe in Ghent! It's instantly welcoming, and the staff always greets you with a smile. And the food? Absolutely delicious, authentic Vietnamese right here in Norfolk. Their banh mi is fantastic – perfectly crispy bread and fresh fillings – and the bubble tea is a must-try. It's just one of those great local spots where the food is amazing, the ingredients are high-quality, and the service makes you feel right at home. Definitely a hidden gem in Ghent worth visiting!

Banh mi’s were pretty good. The chicken in my grilled chicken banh mi was tender and moist, good amount of vegetables, a little more dressing wouldn’t hurt. A little disappointed you can’t adjust sweetness level in the taro tea drink but the food was banging!! 😋 4 small/medium sandwiches and 2 drinks were slightly over $40

The drinks are overpriced, and there’s no option to adjust the sweetness level for milk tea. I ordered a fruit tea at 30% sweetness, but it tasted as sweet as 100%. I was also charged an extra 75 cents for requesting 30% ice. To make matters worse, the lid wasn’t sealed properly, and the drink spilled all over my clothes.
