Note: the atmosphere is a little misleading but I am giving her all the stars because I didn’t even get to meet her and she setup the wedding cakes beautifully at our backyard wedding.
I am so incredibly thankful for Tessa and her excellent cakes. We barely had any cake left and I ordered I think four 10” cakes of different flavors and fillings and one 8” cake of a fifth flavor. Not many bakers do Italian buttercream around here these days—which is probably my favorite—and hers’ was incredibly well done. All of our wedding guests loved the flavor of the cake and frostings and the fillings and the texture! The non-vegans even loved the vegan cake option (vanilla cake w/ a strawberry mousse filling, with a vegan frosting). The gluten lovers even loved the gluten free and corn free option (almond flavored cake with lemon curd filling and Italian butter cream). My family for some reason loves carrot cake at every wedding—they loved hers, the cream cheese frosting was not too sweet or crystalline in texture. And honestly, my favorite—probably the favorite of my husband and most guests, was the matcha cake with pistachio mousse filling and Italian buttercream. I mean, I am about to order it again just because I want it that much and send slices to friends and family who couldn’t attend. My photos do not do her work justice.

Tessa did a fantastic job on my birthday cake. I really appreciate her service and professionalism (especially because I changed the design of my cake a couple times).
Not only was the presentation beautiful, the cake itself was delicious. I asked for a lemon blueberry cake with mascarpone icing and she did not disappoint. All of my friends were obsessed!
Also she delivers, which is a lifesaver.

I asked her to make a simple sun and moon cake nothing crazy and the shape was pretty simple. Cake somehow ended up resembling pac-man eating a dot and the colors were also off. Asked her for a refund and she told us that “doesn’t do exact replicas” and the most she could refund us was $30 even though we paid $130. This makes no sense because at the very least the shape, which was very simple, should be the same.
Here is a side by side of what I wanted vs what i ended up getting. I know she does normal cakes fairly well but if you want something other than a circle I would go elsewhere.

I placed a birthday cake order on June 23rd 2025 for $80, with my birthday on July 14th. As of July 9th, 2025 I received no confirmation email, text, or updates about the order status. When I reached out today, the baker was unresponsive, unaware my order was for Monday, and informed me she was out of town until Friday. She couldn’t confirm a pickup time, stating she’s too busy Saturday and closed Sunday, leaving me no option to pick up before Monday. When I asked about picking up early Monday, she vaguely promised to call me Friday. This lack of communication and unprofessional handling forced me to request a refund, which I feel should’ve been offered immediately given the circumstances. Extremely disappointed with the service, and I’m now without a birthday cake.

My kids and I have stopped in here a couple times, usually when I am hosting something and need treats in a hurry, and the owner is always friendly and accommodating even though I have never had to good sense to plan ahead. We have only had cupcakes and cake pops, but omg they're delicious AND this is easily the most affordable bakery in town.

Tessa made a yummy Boston Cream pie for my husband’s birthday-everyone liked it!
After declining to add a simple design to the cake unless I wanted to pay $10 she forgot to ask what color icing I’d like for the cake, and just gave me a plain white cake. Costumer service is okay… she’s kind of really grouchy.. The buttercream icing tasted like it was scooped out of a butter container, I think it was messed up. My husband and I were thrown off with weird it tasted, and we love buttercream. The cake itself tasted great, just wish I had encountered a happy person..

Bought two cakes with one being a smash cake. The actual cake was good (very moist), but the frosting didn't taste good at all. Tasted strange and wasnt good. The design was very cute and well done, but the frosting wasn't the greatest. My baby didn't seem to like it either. I ended up just throwing it away. I'm not sure I'd recommend that particular frosting, but maybe she has better options
