Everything on salad bar are fresh, many varities of delicious food. Different kinds of meats brought to our are table are yummy.

This is one of the better all you can eat meat locations we have in the area they are on point with their Covid restrictions The side item and salad bar was plentiful and the meat choices were great Ranging from your normal every day steak to fancier chicken and even lamb chops it's a great experience and you definitely leave for and satisfied This is definitely a more upscale restaurant great for date nights or celebrations

Enjoyed a birthday dinner for my girlfriend last year, they did a great job and we enjoyed. We will miss you while you are closed. Hopefully when you open the new location you will consider a Chesapeake location.

CLOSED!!! OpenTable accepted reservations for 4/28. Drove there for a birthday celebration only to find it closed. Doors were locked, lights off and lots of mail scattered around. Shame on Texas de Brazil and OpenTable for allowing this to happen.

I just wanted you all to be made aware that your card reader at the Norfolk, Virginia location is faulty. Because of this, I was treated very disgusting last night. I will never be returning to this location ever again. My boyfriend took me out to eat last night. He paid for our meal, and went to go get our car because we were parked pretty far from the restaurant. I waited at our table for our waitress to bring his card back so I could tip her. She comes back after a few minutes and said his card wasn’t reading. So I gave her my card. I’ve never had an issue with my card reading anywhere else. She comes back a few minutes later and says “your card is doing the same thing, so I have to get my manager.” A few minutes later I see that my card had been charged for the amount that we owed for dinner, but the manager comes to the table very rude telling me she needs to see my ID since “this is the 2nd card she’s had to take from us and swiping all of these cards can seem suspicious to the company.” Is that the proper protocol to say to a customer who has just paid? I certainly hope not. I happen to not grab my ID by accident that day, but I told her I can see you’ve already charged my card, so why do you need an ID? I would think if we’re being suspicious you’d ask for it beforehand. My boyfriend ended up coming back in after finding a closer parking spot because I told him I didn’t feel right. He gave the manager his ID to keep on file (which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever because we used my card and we don’t even have the same last name) and then we left out. But the manager followed us to the door! Why was that necessary? We didn’t steal anything, we weren’t causing a scene or even being a disturbance. I’m not looking for anything free because I’ll never return here if this is how I’m going to be treated. I just wanted someone to be aware that their card reader isn’t working, and the manager needs better interpersonal skills when it comes down to paying customers.

The beef steak was the best, most of the food on the salad bar was great, the lamb and chicken could have been better. Our server was amazing and explained the ordering process as it was our first time dining here.

For a fine dining restaurant the management and customer service was abysmal;however, the food was good. After making a reservation for 12 people the management kept giving me the run around about the deposit for the reservation. Once I arrived an hour early to make the deposit the host informed me that the manager said I did not have to make a deposit. Once everyone arrived and we were directed to our table there was only 10 chair. We informed the waiter and host and they began counting the chairs , as the host went to get the manager. The waiter kept asking if we had too many people and then the manager came out and began count chairs , about 5-7 minutes later after we continuously told them we the reservation was for 12 ,and they realized they only had 10 chairs set ,then they added another table. Our waiter was bad as well she came to our table once every 30 minutes. The servers charged with distributing the food to the customers were extremely nice and ended waiting on us. Then our assigned waiter would pop up out when it was convenient for her. The gratuity was $100 but I honestly did not want to tip her $100 because she did not do her job. The servers should have gotten that tip because they did her job. This use to be my favorite restaurant and I was extremely excited because most of our party had never been there before. But the bad management and customer service was not worth the amount of money that we paid.

The food was great, but the service was unacceptable - particularly at this price point. We weren't seated until nearly 20 minutes past our reservation. It took 45 minutes for our drinks to come out. Our server, while nice, was missing in action most of the evening. When we were ready to go, it took 15+ minutes to get the bill and then 20 more waiting for the card to come back so we could sign and leave. The restaurant didn't appear understaffed, so it was hard to understand why the service was so incredibly slow. I was really disappointed by my first experience dining at Texas de Brazil. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

I attended this restaurant because in the past the experience was exquisite. My family and I went to the Norfolk, Virginia Location on February 18, 2022, Friday evening. The host was fine. The service was completely unprofessional. About 25 minutes after being seated, we received the sides. The meat came out about 30- 40 minutes later. The staff had attitudes. We attempted to ask for meats and we'd get the last 2 on the stick that was horrible. Upon speaking to the manager, about the service, hospitality, and the rude staff, she defended them stating she knows them personally and it's just the demeanor or character. This was the very worst experience my family and I received from any restaurant. There was one staff member that was truly amazing I believe his name was Jontavius. Other patrons in the restaurant had the same complaints. The managers, the bartender, and staff (besides Jontavius) were very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to any animal let alone another adult. I'm upset that I had to give this place 1 star because they don't deserve that. #HIGHLYDISAPPOINTED!

We were pleased to be seated very soon after arriving. Our server was friendly and efficient. The buffet had many items to choose from and would accommodate most dietary needs. If I were to change one thing about our experience it would be that the restaurant is dark and at this stage in my life a little more light is always preferable.

This dining experience was quite fun. Lots of meats, mostly beef, some pork and chicken. The salad bar offers smoke salmon, salami and pepperoni meats. I was totally blown away and satisfied with just the salad bar. Soup was also available. Vegetables varieties are nicely places and often cleaned by staff. I noticed plastic gloves for diners visiting the salad bar, I was the only one wearing them. I believe no one saw them there because your eves immediately go to the selections completely covering the salad bar. I had a reservation that I placed by phone to the manager Ms. Floyd about 2 weeks prior, her communication with me was almost non existent. I finally confirmed our reservation just 3 days prior. Not comfortable with that since this place fills up fast. We were given 90 min for dining. Our waitress Just 1 for the table did a great job with this size party she was super attentive and no one had any complaints. Servers kept coming around for the first 30 minutes with seasoned grilled meats. We didn't see them much after that. I would dine here again. Just for the delay bar as I could feel my cholesterol level rising. Give it a try, I can only assume weekday dining would be favorable.

Such a great experience. From the time we walked in until we left was great. Went foe hubby's bday with our daughter & her husband. When that steak melted in our mouth.... we enjoyed everything & then some. Lovely waitress & the rest of the staff was great too. All around good time.
