Would not recommend. Hopefully your visit is an amazing one but if it’s not and you want to report it, there’s no one that will listen to you it seems.

My food was fresh and on point. Favorable and less than 10 minutes wait. I did the survey and got a free 9 wing and fries combo the next day. I got the spicy mango bourbon sauce both times and both times was a 10/10 .

Two words: food poisoning. We stopped by for a late night bite. We ordered wings and Mac n cheese. So promising, but little did we know the horror that would ensue. I felt bad because there were only two guys working and I could see a line of people waiting for their wings too. It was slow. The Mac n cheese was not worth it, and I saw them squeeze some sludge out of a bottle onto noodles - could that have been our food poisoning culprit? Had it been sitting out for who knows how long because the restaurant was short-staffed and overburdened? Or were the chicken wings not properly kept? I took one of my friends to urgent care the next day, and sure enough, she got a shot in her bum and took a cocktail of GI medicine to treat food poisoning. Not long after I too succumbed the toxins. Then my husband was the last to bow out. Whoever reads this: save yourselves.

I went by on an off night, not weekend, but was immediately struck by the deafening din of these enormous televisions on the walls and lots of them, blasting out mostly Sports which bounced off all the tile floors and walls. I could not hear myself think it was so ear shredding. The place was very attractive but I couldn't stand being in that high-decibel soup

We came here for the taco festival. I haven't been inside of the district until today... at least not in several years. I thought it was nicely remodeled. The set up was obviously catered to the taco festival but I liked the long bar areas and open floor plan. When you are on the second floor you can see the downstairs area because they have transparent walls while you sit and eat. Nice area to hang out at!

Well we decided to come to the family movie night showing of the lion king. We thought it was going to be outside but I'm assuming because it's so hot they brought it inside or maybe it's always like this a crowded mess. Good idea but just not the smartest logistically. Poor little kids in chairs behind adults and then some people at table tops others in folding chairs all trying to see. Maybe this crowd isn't the norm and everyone came for the Lion King, again great idea and awesome way to bring the community together but hmmm they kinda need to think this one through a little better next week. Maybe make it a night movie outside (later showing) â€. I'm glad the fire marshal didn't show up it would have been a mess for real.

Great service at the center bar and great music!! It's a great place for families, friends, or a night out with the girls! They host tons of events so there is always something to do!!

I love Waterside District for all that it has to offer -- never ceases to amaze me! I've been here multiple times or nearby, but never to get a work out on. A fitness class was going on and at first, I did have a little trouble finding the exact location. I could see the picture thumbnail include "The Market" and that it would be at the promenade, but I looked at the Waterside map and couldn't find the promenade on it. My only saving grace that I was a teacher that uses context clues and followed the river, since it said it was located by it. Found them! I will say I enjoyed seeing all the outside seating and water play available for patrons. The workout was great and we had a speaker as well. Afterwards, we were given $10 off wristbands to use inside. Great perk! Unfortunately it cannot be used at the coffee place, fudgery, or chipotle. Plentiful seating inside with a bar right in the middle. They even have a little arcade gaming area! Beautiful place to be, especially when the weather is nice.

Ooooo Waterside, who dis????? I promise you every time I am in the area I find a new gem, a revitalized gem, it's like renovation nation in and around Norfolk!! This place is awesome!! Especially first thing in the mid morning when they first open and you can take in, literally every aspect of this place!! From the plethora of food options, to the mini arcade on the way to the restroom, which by the way are super clean!!! There is something here for everyone. Great place to grab drinks with friends, hang out with the fam or for date night. If you park in the parking garage directly across the street, park on the second level and you have direct access to the walkway that leads straight to Wateside.

The waterside area was scenic and well-kept. There are walkways and plenty benches if you need to stop while exploring. I was looking for more shops inside the building with "touristy" items however I didn't see any. Plenty of restaurants and eateries to choose from. Our Airbnb was a couple blocks from this area so we walked down, no complaints but no hoorays either. Grabbed a few beers at the Bluemoon Taphouse outside bar and played table tennis. There was an ALS walk going on the Saturday we were visiting so there was live music and lots of folks out; great addition to our visit !

They have three things on their menu with additional two sides. I ordered the meatball sub and asked for a cup of water. Apparently they don't serve drinks. You have to go to the bar to ask for a water. Next thing I know the only person working the place disappears. He returns to say it'll be a little while as they don't make the sub. They get it from the Blue Moon Restaurant next door. So they don't make one of three menu items??? It took 20 minutes for the Blue Moon staff to bring over the sub. Definitely not worth the hassle and pretty lame that it doesn't indicate it on the menu.

This place is the most disorganized kitchen I've ever seen. We waited for a half hour before giving up and requesting a refund. The manager was nice about it and offered to give us the food in addition to the refund. However the kitchen had already given our food to someone else. ?!?!? Be smart and just say no to a visit here.

Came here on my lunch break. Long wait for my food and then my grilled Turkey Chop was raw. When I returned it, the cook asked me where it was raw even though it was disgustingly apparent. The cashier was very polite however the manager had not yet been trained and didn't know how to process a return as I was told she'd just been promoted. Ultimately I was able to get my money back but I'd be too afraid to give them another try.

Previous posts were right. Two sandwiches were about $30. The female cashier needs to move on. A worker texting on phone while customers are waiting is in bad form not to mention just rude. Avoid at all costs.

Don't bother. Two half assed sandwiches and two canned sodas = $30. It wasn't busy, yet they had no fries or homemade chips at lunch time. Which is fine--that would habpve cost $10 more. Servers could not care less.
