The Pancake House & Grill Reviews
I ordered breakfast. I asked for soft poached eggs. the eggs were hard as a rock. The hashrounds were half cooked. The sausage tasted spoiled. My wait staff was on her phone when I ask for a drink refill 10 minutes prior.
I really wanted to like this place. I’ve heard great things about the deep-fried French toast, so I made three separate attempts to dine here. Unfortunately, the inconsistency has made it impossible to ever recommend this establishment.
• Attempt 1: Showed up on a Monday, only to find they were closed.
• Attempt 2: They were forced to close early due to plumbing issues. I understand things break, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried one more time.

It was a good run, but their need to advertise their garbage politics is enough to not go back. Oh well, there are plenty of other places to get breakfast in 757 🤷🏼♂️

The Pancake House & Grill is a well-known breakfast and lunch spot that has been a favorite among locals for many years. The menu features a wide variety of options, including delicious crepes, country fried steak, and omelets, all served in generous portions at good prices. The food is consistently good, with the best pancakes and fantastic burgers like the "Cure" burger topped with hash browns, cheddar cheese, and a medium cooked egg. The famous BLT with fries and fresh-made bread is also a must-try. The restaurant is known for its fresh-squeezed orange juice, strawberry butter for flap jacks, and great pastrami sandwiches. A recent remodel added a full bar and brunch favorites like mimosas, making it a popular spot for different occasions. Customers often praise the large portions and homemade feel of the food, finding it worth the wait despite occasional long lines. The service is attentive, with friendly servers, though sometimes orders can be mixed up. The place is kid-friendly and conveniently located near the interstate for easy access. Visitors also enjoy the applewood smoked bacon, fried eggs, cheese grits, and stuffed French toast with strawberries, which are highly recommended. Overall, many find the food excellent and the atmosphere welcoming, making it a place they want to return to frequently.
