Very Slow Service! Waitress Older, watched her carry our food to WRONG table! We had been waiting over 30 minutes...she walked right pass us and took our food to a table that was seated long after us. Then when she realized she was wrong, she came back to our table...she dropped Chicken Wings on my friend's plate on FLOOR!!! Asked for soft scrambled eggs, they were hard and cold.

Omggg This place was soo good and I usually get super full quick and don’t finish a lot of food I order but I order the applewood smoked bacon, fried eggs, cheese grits, and the stuffed French toast with strawberries and it was a 10/10 it was soo good I almost got full and I just had to finish it! On top of that the mimosas are great definitely a nap well deserved after! The service was good and they are really sweet! Definitely going to be my new favorite place to go so they will definitely see my face a lot!❤️🥹

My partner and I arrived and were seated immediately. However, we waited 15 minutes before having our order taken, then again waited an hour and a half for our food. We asked 4 times and we're told each time that the order was being prepared. When we finally got our food, it was cold and the pancakes were still gooey in the middle. Not worth the price on the food and service we received.

My family found this place online while traveling and I'm so glad we did. My husband's club sandwich was STACKED with meat. I got a southwest omelette and it was super tasty.

Okay, listen….I really thought Norfolk had some of the worst food I’ve ever tasted in the United States… until I came here. This place completely changed my mind. I barely got a picture because I was too busy scarfing everything down. It was that good. And the prices? Super reasonable for how fresh and flavorful everything was.
Yes, there was a bit of a wait and the food took a little while to come out, but honestly, it was worth every second. The pancakes? Definitely made from scratch. You can taste the difference. And praise be, they actually season their food! I was genuinely impressed.
Our waitress was super sweet, and the service felt personal even though they were busy. The only downside is the parking situation, it’s a little tricky, but that’s honestly the only complaint I have.
If you’re hungry and want food that’s cooked with love, this is it.

I picking up a door dash order at the panckae house and grill, I waited more then 20 minutes, but as I was waiting, customers were coming in for dinning, but 8 minutes into my waiting for my dash order, there was a young black lady asking me to get her some food, I explain to her that I was waiting for a dash order, that once I get the order I have to go and deliver, so I told her you can order something from here, so she precede to order from pancake house and grill, as doing so, she first ask for take out Mr Nick told her no, then she said she will dine in and he told her he has no more space, now mind you, you has just seated 7 people, she the young lady left and Mr Nick seated 4 more people which were all white, if Mr Nick claim that the store was up to capacity and can't accept anymore orders then Mr. Nick shouldn't have seated 4 more people, which means that there will be more orders place. I dont want to accuse Nick of racism, but his actions clearly showed it. I was coming to bring my family back to dine in because it appeared to be a pleasant place to dine, but after Mr. Nick actions, I can see myself eating an establishment that show rascism

This place is a solid 10 out of 10. If you like breakfast or brunch this is definitely the place to be. Don't forget to ask for the strawberry butter to go with those flap jacks. Y'all can thank me later.
