The food isn’t worth the attitude you get from the owner who doesn’t acknowledge u . He’s rude and racist to anyone not white. I can’t get a booth? But if you’re white and a personal friend you can get a booth and wait for your party to arrive ?!!!! Worst breakfast place in Norfolk

Not much has changed at this established breakfast/ lunch place in the heart of wards corner which is a good thing. Why fix what isn't broken? Food was good & good portions. Prices are excellent & service was good. They a big menu w/great options. Nice place for a good ol fashioned breakfast that won't break your walletParking: Parking is not an issue here as they are in a strip shopping center .

Great diner food, the hot syrup is a game changer. Every time we've been the servers have been so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend the apple pancakes or just a side of the country apples, too good. Debra is great! We'll definitely be coming back, we've been three times in a month since the first visit ?

Gina was wonderful and served us well. We had to try the blueberry pancakes. They were delicious. Also tried out their stuffed strawberry French toast. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. We have a new breakfast spot.Come try out the Pancake House and Grill

4 berry pancakes are so good they are filling. Denver omelette was ok they use awful cheese. I ordered the lump crab eggs Benedict and it wasn’t that good, I wouldn’t order it again.

The Pancake House and Grill7633 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505In a nice inviting atmosphere signified by the warm lighting, the Pancake House and Grill is always eager to please customers in Norfolk by being one of the best breakfast spots in town.Been in business since 1962, the kind owner of this establishment also serves as a host to this restaurant looking quite pleased with what was being offered. The Angus Burgers, he indicated, sounded delightful, but my friend swayed me to go with the Texas Special.Complete with an 8 ounce ribeye and served with two eggs, the entree was grilled to order with Montreal seasoning.Every bite of that steak was a bit of a savory joy with balanced seasoning while not being too salty. The eggs, served over easy, were not too hard or too soft, but were thick enough to pick up with a fork. Almost perfect!I also paired up that meal with the Peaches & Cream Pancakes. They were made with an original egg batter recipe with tender peaches and topped with whipped cream. No syrup needed because the peaches already took care of the sweetness along with providing some texture that was easy to bite into with the whipped cream and pancake mixed into a bite which exudes a comforting flavor of pure bliss.Classy atmosphere, well cooked food, and really tasty pancakes, this restaurant can make breakfast meals a fun and a delicious experience.

The owner is very racist he do not like black pplAn he also charge 25cent for water that god gave us . Also there was a 12 year boy who came inside the place it was 90 degrees outside the boy was sweating really bad you can tell he had no money. He just wanted some water that guy charged him $.25 for some water and that boy never got any water. He is a very nasty man and I do not recommend supporting him his company. No one was rude to you but for you to charge ppl is ridiculous especially a little elementary boy you are pathetic an trust I will not be coming back an I will make sure my ppls will not be eatting there you are a sad business owner u should be a shame an your food is quite nasty with no season am far as getting something for free from our company lol we go the extra mile to make sure our customers are happy we give them our discounts which helpLower there price . Maybe you should try going the extra mile an extend your hand out more. I will let ppl know about ur business an how u turnt an elementary child down because he wanted some water you charging for water u are sadddddd!!!

If you're looking for a breakfast spot, this is it. Perfect tasting food and portions, kind and attentive staff, and clean place. Better than IHOP or any other major chain. Ate there for the first time today and plan to go back every chance I get.
