Umm. I think when you order ribs maybe you should get them. And then maybe answer the phone. Finally got them on the phone after they hung up on me once. Then they told me I ordered from a different restaurant. Yeah. You’re on your own, you take your chances with this horrible place.

FOOD IS OK BUT THE SERVICE FROM THE CASHIER THATS ALWAYS THERE AT NIGHT, IS HORRIBLE! SHE HAS A VERY NASTY ATTITUDE! SMH SHES VERY DISRESPECTFUL! EVERYTIME I COME THERE THE LADY THAT FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, HAS AN ATTITUDE.

Didn't mind the wait, but the food was disappointing. I ordered the smothered turkey wings, cabbage with rice and gravy. Turkey wings and cabbage were ok, but the rice and gravy was horrible. It smelled bad and tasted bad as well.
I also ordered the fried chicken with yams and mac and cheese. Chicken was a little salty, but edible. Mac and cheese was just unflavored noodles with cheese slapped on top. I don't think I'll be going back.

My mother had her bridal dinner at “THEE FOOD KITCHEN”. All the bridesmaids loved the food as well! I personally would eat here every day if I could !

I was running errands the other day and couldn't decide what I wanted for lunch. I stumbled upon Thee Soulfood Kitchen ordered their 3 wing lunch special along with slice of cake for under $15. Everything was cooked just right and full of flavor. I will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area🤤😋

Well we got there when it first opened. Based on the reviews it was good. And we were bamboozled the oxtails weren’t seasoned, the cabbage was plain, the turkey wing gravy was watered down, the turkey had no seasoning, it was just all around a disappointment!

The food is good, but the service is poor. The wait to get your order can be 30 - 45 minutes. The servers has no since of urgency with the line stretching out the door.

Dietary restrictions: Salt and pork are staples but not good for you.

We visited Thee Soulfood Kitchen because we saw it on television as a black and veteran owned business. It did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and warm. There were various selections to choose from including ox tails and smothered turkey wings. A nice amount of people came through for a Monday evening. The food was tasty. We started with the basics; fried chicken, collards, yams and a beef patty. The seasoning was great, portion size was great and prices were great. We had a chance to chat with the owner, who was very pleasant! We ate in and purchased some extra collards to go. We will definitely come back to try the ox tails and the smothered turkey wings! Well Done "Thee Soulfood Kitchen!" Would suggest one thing, that you put a little extra lighting at the entrance to make it more inviting.

I saw the menu and knew I had to try it!!! I was not wrong this by far has been the best ox tail I have had in years. The atmosphere is great and staff was friendly! Highly highly recommend!

Ordered 3 dinners , seafood platter with mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. No gravy on the mash potatoes. The potatoes was like a rock, ordered turkey wings , rice with gravy an cabbage that was fine , ordered a Salisbury steak with double mash potatoes and gravy. No gravy on the potatoes they was like lumps of rocks. Salisbury steak an gravy was hard, dry an extremely salty. Smh. I ordered a single pork chop an ask for it not to be cooked hard. It was hard an dried out like it was old an just rewarmed.. this was the restaurant in the shopping center not the market. Not sure if I'll go back this is the second time my food was not good.

The food was amazing I was kind of skeptical with a 3.9 review however the food was 5.0 or better service was great restaurant was clean and the food came fast. My food taste amazing. Let me say it again. Good job.
