My husband, Ted, enjoyed the pork chop—hands down the best I've ever tasted—and my scallops were perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. Every detail, from the flavors to the service, reminded us why this restaurant is such a local favorite.

Unfortunately, we didn't even get a chance to try the food. The hostess stand was a mess and not very well organized. There was no list of who was next. When we finally got sat down, we had to wait another 5-10min for our menus. When it was time to order, almost every item on the menu was sold out. I know things like this happen, but I wish this was told to us while we were waiting to be seated so we could decided if we wanted to wait. We ended up leaving.

We appreciated being moved by the hostess to a table away from the front door. We enjoyed our drinks, appetizers, and dessert and our service was excellent. Unfortunately, the entrees weren't to our taste, and were room temperature rather than warm when brought to the table.

Wonderful New Years Eve dinner. The price was about right for 3 courses, $79/each. We're not big dessert eaters, but our waiter complied w/our request to sub a side instead. The food is always spot on...my oysters were huge, duck was great & we brought our own wine for a $25 corkage fee. Always VERY enjoyable!!

My boyfriend and I love coming here! We love the bartenders and get the best service! The food and drinks are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend for a date night. The low lightening makes it relaxing and romantic. Great happy hour specials too! Big fan of their espresso martinis! Always new specials. Last night, we did the Saturday steak night. The steak was cooked to perfection! Please go check them out!

Hosted an event in their private room. Set up was a breeze, Gigi and George did a tremendous job pacing our guests and making sure not a water glass nor cocktail went empty.
Everyone enjoyed their meals, which is tough with large groups and there were options for every taste.
Highly recommend for convenient downtown location and ease of parking as well.
We had calamari and pumpkin crab soup to start. Calamari was fresh and the batter was light and perfectly salted. Crab soup has a unique flavor due to the pumpkin, but it is delicious. Our main courses were sea bass and crab cake - again, very flavorful. The portions were just right and for a fair price for fine dining. Our server was excellent.

The noise in the bar was very loud and impacted the dining area. Not sure if the was due to the NSU homecoming game. Definitely made the dining experience less enjoyable.

The food for the French wine dinner was PHENOMENAL, the service was excellent (thank you Debbie, GiGI, Todd and staff), the wine pairings were perfect thanks to the wine sommelier Sarah. My husband and I truly look forward to any wine dinners at Todd's Bistro and recommend anyone who loves gourmet food and wine make reservations and enjoy the experience. You won't get food like this, for this price point, anywhere else in the Hampton Roads area.

The halibut entre was bland. Think it was missing a bure Blanc. The Mac was grainy. The restrooms were not clean. The bar crown was very loud. It's unfortunate this restaurant declined from our past visits. The wait staff was very attentive.
