The noise in the bar was very loud and impacted the dining area. Not sure if the was due to the NSU homecoming game. Definitely made the dining experience less enjoyable.

The halibut entre was bland. Think it was missing a bure Blanc. The Mac was grainy. The restrooms were not clean. The bar crown was very loud. It's unfortunate this restaurant declined from our past visits. The wait staff was very attentive.

We were seated right away. The host was very courteous and asked us how we were doing. The waiter arrived promptly and took our drink order. He was very courteous. Our meal was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Wow! The food and service were both amazing! There are so many enticing menu selections that it was difficult to choose. That's OK! Looking forward to returning to this fantastic restaurant!

Though some of the experience listed do not reflect what we experience. It was one of the better or best meals out in a while. We were there for friends 48th wedding anniversary. The cocktail were perfect. We had the fried shrimp, the thickest porkchop I've seen, salmon and deserts. It was great. Highly recommend.

Staff is not friendly at all. I arrived at 8:40pm this evening with my SO stood at the desk for 10 minutes before being told oh this section is closed for a private event you have to go to the bar for service we go to the bar and ask if we are able to sit outside for service. The young lady said she needed to check walked away and came back and said she checked said we could sit at any available table and a sever would be with us. After another 6 minutes my SO went inside to order us a drink and check on the server only to be told oh the kitchen closes at 9. All of this information would’ve been wonderful to know upon arrival and certainly prior to him paying for drinks. We will not be returning.

Menu is the best around and food preparation and presentation were both flawless. Kayla was excellent as our waitstaff as well. One of the best restaurants for dinner in Norfolk, consistently outstanding over many years dining there.

Delicious meal, and a very large noisy party was moved to a private room to accommodate us and other diners from their noise. The staff at the restaurant was truly helpful in every respect. And valet parking made it easy in the downtown waterfront area to go to the restaurant.

This was our first time dining at Todd's Bistro; Selected as the best place to go in Norfolk for our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff was ready for us and made us feel special. We were very pleased overall when the evening ended.

I hadn't been in quite a few years and it didn't disappoint. Food was excellent. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Intimate and cozy ambience. Perfect meal before seeing a concert.

Made this reservation for our wedding anniversary. Based on the prices and photos, it seemed lime a fine dining restaurant. We knew it was Restaurant Week in Norfolk, but other places we looked at were still offering their full menu, and Todd Jurich's seemed to as well. The hostess who sat us said the same: "We have our usual menu and also Restaurant Week menu and some other extras." When we were sat, we looked around and realized that we were the only people under 55 here, which was already odd. Then, our "server" (Jeremy, I think?) came by and asked what we'd like to drink. I politely said, "Oh yes, we know what we want for drinks, but can we also get your regular menu?" We chose the place for the regular menu, after all. He was very curt and said that it was only the RW menu. I repeated what the hostess had said, which implied that wad an option but not a requirement. He said, "No, RW only. If you want to order a la carte, then you'll have to sit at the bar." I told him that's not an option, as it's our wedding anniversary and we definitely want the booth seating we requested in the reservation. He abruptly walked away without asking our drink order and proceeded to serve other tables. We left, but not before making a reservation at Saltine next door that was immediately available and much better both in ambience and menu options (RW + regular). Won't make this mistake again.

Lovely Restaurant Week Choice - Salmon Cakes were amazing! Sides worked well with entree. Great wine pairing. Love the lumpia as first course. I'll be back! I would share photos but this venue doesn't allow it!

For such a nice restaurant with great potential the service was “meh” Gerald our waiter was not very polished or attentive. Service was the level of Olive Garden.Maybe he was swamped elsewhere? Even so. Our reservation was 6pm on Saturday and the restaurant was only half full. The other 2 waitress we observed in the room were much more attentive and courteous. Gerald never came to check on our meal once it was served by the runner. We had to flag down the hostess to return the way overcooked dried halibut. He never offered to refill our water which was empty. We had to ask him. The scallop dish was excellent along with the jumbo fried shrimp appetizer and beet salad. The replated halibut was still dry along the outside yet more moist in the middle compared to the first one. This is such an expensive fish it's sad to see it prepared improperly. Stoney's, which cannot compare to Todd Jurich, preparation of their halibut is far superior.

We had a wonderful dinner at Todd Jurich's Bistro. The food was delicious and our server was great. We went during Norfolk Restaurant Week. There were plenty of menu choices, not extremely limited like at some other restaurants, and everything we ordered was delicious. Our server, Heather, was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and helped make our dining experience pleasurable. If you haven't tried Todd Jurich's, we highly recommend it.
