We surprisingly had a really great time. The service was good. The food was good. The drinks were excellent too. My only issue is the bartender needs a little help. He was clearly swamped. However, drinks were still great!

Varia provides a great dining experience. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. The server, Reece, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return for dinner.

We got seating right next to the piano and was able to watch they're performance, which was wonderful and set a really nice tone for the evening

My husband and I had dinner for my birthday. Our waiter "Evan" was great. Excellent customer service and explained all menu items. We're already planning to go back!

Very good service, waiter was knowledgeable about wine selection and specialist for the night. Recommend for a date night or a family dinner type event.

Food had a lot of potential but was very unseasoned and tasted bland. The complimentary bread looked like it was going to be great and had lots of herbs on top, but it tasted like nothing. The butter with it looked great as well, but also had no taste. The happy hour drinks were good and fairly priced, but after happy hour they're way over priced. The swordfish croquettes were good but also tasted unseasoned. Our server was slightly rude as well and when we placed our forks on the appetizer plate he demanded we take them back. It would've been nice to have had new forks for dinner, but they must have been running low as that seemed like it would take an act of congress to get new ones. I had the Farmagio Pizza and it was decent but honestly Chanellos makes a better cheese pizza. My girlfriend had the Delmonico steak and while it and the potatoes were cooked perfectly they weren't seasoned at all. Very disappointing for a $40 steak. We only came here to hear Frank sings Frank and wish we hadn't ordered any food. The bill was nearly $100 and with all due respect Olive Garden would've tasted better. Also the seating is very poor and you feel like your crammed next to people. I'm 6'2 and the couch I sat on as my chair made me feel like I was a kid at the table. My girlfriend had originally been sitting there and had to switch because she was so low to the table. I would save your money and skip this place. This place wants to be fancy, but serves the same quality food as Chilis.

Shout out to Evan! His professional and accommodating service made the experience even better than it already was, with the excellent food and ambiance. The house wine was well chosen by the beverage manager. Very approachable and reasonably priced.

I really love the live music, except I wish it's centrally located so everyone can enjoy. Service and food are great. I'll dine in this place again.

We recently visited this restaurant for the first time and were immediately impressed by the inviting atmosphere and lively ambiance. The live music added a great touch to the evening, creating a warm and enjoyable setting. Our waiter was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable—which made the experience feel welcoming from the start. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not match the restaurant's reputation or pricing. The Delmonico steak was dry and tough, and the grilled caulini served alongside it was fairly mediocre. The radiatore pasta was also quite bland and lacked the flavor we were expecting. While we truly appreciated the ambiance and excellent service, the disappointing food made the overall experience fall short of expectations. We had high hopes for our first visit, but sadly, it did not live up to the standard we anticipated.

We had the best experience for my birthday celebration and it was delicious too! 🤍 love it here!

The space is stunning and drinks and appetizers were a hit. The entrees were fine, but nothing exceptional. We came to hear Frank Sings Frank, a live Sinatra tribute. It was a fantastic addition and made the evening!

Live Jazz and Ladies Night is a great choice for a Thursday night! The ambiance is chic and fun.

Favorite restaurant in Norfolk, you can't go wrong choosing to eat there! Great drinks and food.

Everything was 5 Star with the exception of our table. We made reservations and our table legs were like a way back era. There were 4 of us eating on that table and there was absolutely no where to rest your feet. The table legs spread out like claws or flowers so there was no foot space. We had to rest our feet up around the table legs. Our other 2 friends sat at a small round table. We were uncomfortable eating. Everything else was 5 Stars.

Looked good online but was better in person. Great ambience, great food and good prices, happy hour ran later than most places with beer at 4 bucks. Highly recommend, my wife said this was her new favorite restaurant
