Beautifully decorated, exquisite service, wonderful drinks and their house wine was delicious. The rigatoni bolognese was amazing, so flavorful, great texture. Unfortunately what I was looking forward to the most, the lobster risotto, was terrible. The lobster was undercooked, when I sent it back they cooked it some more but it came back rubbery, very salty and absolutely unpleasant. The risotto was also flat and overly salted. We like to stop by Varia when we're in Norfolk to visit family. The ambience is nice for special occasions, and the food is always excellent. Recently, our waiter Reese provided friendly and helpful service. We will be back!
if nothing else, bread is always well done. At Varia, it was tasteless as well as the butter. Its impression was not a good one.We ended up with pizzas. My crust was burned and flavor just ok. My partner thought his was good. Ambiance is lovely
