Venice NY Pizza - Norfolk

I ordered my food off Uber eats on Yesterday Feb 20th and not only did it not come but i came up there and y’all are closed is this a scam I feel like I should be refunded or credited for my food

My last two deluxe pizza have been really good. I've been ordering pizza and wings since they been open. Sometimes it's hit or miss. My last two experiences has been good.

This was a very disappointing encounter. Unless you are in the mood for cold no flavor food do not visit this place. We ordered our food at 4:34 and told that our food would be delivered within an hour. I gave them a full hour figuring that is what the cashier meant. At 5:35 I called and was told they are just waiting for the driver to return and get our pizza to deliver. Meaning our pizza was ready and waiting. It was finally delivered to our door at 5:50, 20 minutes after I called. Mind you the restaurant is 10 minutes with traffic to our home. Needless to say our pizza arrived cold. We called as soon as it was delivered and told we can come pick up a new pizza but that was an inconvenience and the reason we ordered for delivery in the first place. We asked for a refund of at least half off. They said best they could do was 20% refund. This pizza and wings cost $50 was delivered cold, hardly any cheese no sauce no flavor whatsoever ever. I am not impressed and will not be giving my business to them again. I will make sure that all our friends and neighbors know not to waste their hard earned money here.

So I ordered tonight, and tried sending it on base, but even though I had noted before they took my order on uber eats that my order required base access they sent out a driver who got denied access. Then I had to give another location and drive to it, shout out to the lady on the phone who helped me with this though, she was a real help and the only other positive part about this order. When I finally met my delivery driver at the wrong address by the way, he mumbled something and gave me my order. I then finally received my pizzas, and I can day they were the other positive part of this, they were great. However, the garlic knots leaned REALLY hard into the garlic and I basically had a clove of garlic with a side of bread.

Overall, the food is good and worth it if you go in person, just a bit pricy. If you get delivery, don't bother

I’ve had four pizzas from them. The first one was right after they opened and it was great.
I ordered again. It was good. The third pizza it was off. This pizza SUCKED!!!!!!

My first question is, where is the damn SAUCE!!!!!?

Venice ny pizza may be known for their pizza, but don’t sleep on the wings and pasta—they’re equally fantastic! I decided to try something different this time, and I was blown away.

The wings were perfection! I ordered the lemon pepper and they were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of seasoning You can tell they take their wings as seriously as their pizza.

I also tried the chicken and broccoli “Fettuccine Alfredo” , and it was truly impressive. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was creamy and rich, with just the right balance of flavors. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh.

On top of the great food, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Venice ny pizza is definitely more than just a pizza place—it’s a hidden gem for all kinds of delicious comfort food. Highly recommend trying the wings and pasta next time you’re here!

We have been to many pizza / Italian places. Pizza was excellent I got that, Stromboli was just as good husband ate that. Price is great! I did not feel like the wait too long for what I ordered. Customer service was excellent. I just wish they had Coke products. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We have ordered from this company several times with no issues. However, in our recent order they put chicken on our pizza that was supposed to be vegetarian. After we tried to resolve the issue through Slice, the app we ordered from, we were told that we had to provide "proof", like a photo or physically drive the pizza back to the store at 8pm (while we were getting my 4yo ready for bed), or they would not provide a refund. The pizza is in the trash at this point, because we don't eat meat and it's already 8pm. Furthermore, apparently the kitchen staff was told the person emailing us that "the pizza was made correctly". Maybe it was, and we just received someone else's chicken pizza, but I was basically called a liar over a pizza. I called the store and was told the owner didn't have a set schedule for me to be able to contact him, and no one else could provide a refund. This is such a terrible way to run a business, and a surefire way to loose customers. DO NOT order from this company, unless you want to be incredibly inconvenienced when THEY make a mistake, and risk losing your money to them unless you bring the incorrect pizza back to them.
