The food is incredible. Wonderful wine offerings. The service is always attentive and the chef is always spot-on. You must visit this terrific gem in Norfolk.
This may be about as perfect of a date night as you can get. They are located in a very quiet area. They have their own parking lot for their customers only. There's not a lot a seating inside and this is one of the few places we've been that's actually pretty quiet while you eat. You can have a good conversation! We started with the bread service and two appetizers, the beet salad and their crab bisque. The bread was fantastic, nice crust good flavor and was accompanied by oil and balsamic. The salad was good and the crab bisque was as good as we've ever eaten. it was crab and nearly every bite and sometimes the crab would be larger than the spoon. Absolutely decadent. For a main course, we ordered the lollipop lamb chops and the beef Wellington. The lollipop lamb chops and the beef Wellington were both ordered mid rare and they both came exactly as ordered! Everything was well seasoned including the vegetables and mashed potatoes. It's rare these days to find a chef that actually seasons and tests before serving. Everything we put in our mouth was first class and we will definitely be back. Get your honey and get to Voila. You will definitely score some points!
Food was so yummy. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The place has a good atmosphere.
Amazing. The service, the food and the atmosphere. From the walk in the door to the desert. Really relaxing evening. Great place for a date. The chef is extremely creative. Our server, Nick was great. Very welcoming, friendly and funny.
The food here is incredible as is the cozy atmosphere. I started with the lamb meatballs and ordered the special for the evening, crab stuffed flounder, and I couldn't put my fork down.
This place has AMAZING service and the food was SO good. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Most definitely returning
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing service and the food was outstanding.
For our first outside-the-home dining experience since the pandemic started, we chose one of our local favorites, Voila. We sat in the courtyard with tables spaced comfortably apart. The service was as prompt and on point as we have come to expect from dining inside. The cocktails were as good as ever, the menu as expansive and delicious, and the desert was excellent. These are strange times we are living in, but it was a treat to launch (cautiously) back into dining out. Big shout out to everyone at Voila for hanging in there. It was worth the wait!
Great dinner for my wife’s birthday. Service was great and the food was delicious. Try the beef Wellington. Thanks!
Perfect little place tucked on off of freemason.
Angela was an awesome waitress but even if she wasn’t the food was so good we probably would have overlooked it! I wish I would have been able to thank the chef personally. One of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time!
A wonderful gem of a restaurant tucked away in downtown Norfolk! The food here is consistently great. They have warm bread that comes straight from the oven, the best French Onion soup I've had, and great food all around. A cozy atmosphere perfectly suited for a romantic night out or a get together with good friends. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Once we found this excellent French restaurant my wife and daughters have frequented Viola before theatre and for the holidays.
Tomorrow starts take out only in VA. We took out Salmon V and Paidakia Arni (lamb chops). They were spectacular as well as the mashed potato and sautéed veggies. We will return before the restaurants reopen for sit down.
I tried this place before with a friend and I am hooked since then. I liked the awesome mood and yummy food and drinks. 5 stars from me.
