The waffle houses back home are not like this one. It was a lot of flies inside which is gross and I don’t want to complain too much because of course it’s a waffle house so the expectation is lower than most. I also thought it was strange how I ordered another order to go and they put no syrup or utensils inside the bag and I asked for a utensil for my waffle and the woman upfront was just like oh we don’t have anything so…
Also a lot of workers just standing around just talking, my server didn’t put in my order until 10 minutes later to the cook because he was talking aswell.

There was paper AND plastic in the grits. And if you order cheese grits, expect a cold piece of cheese that is not yet melted. But I’d avoid ordering them altogether as it’s got some inedible items involved.

The establishment CONSTANTLY says they don’t have enough servers and have to do To-Go” orders only. I’ve been here 5 times and 4 times they don’t have enough workers. A 10% surcharge is automatically added for To-Go orders so basically they are getting automatically tipped on top of the tip I’m giving them. Getting charged a service fee and To-Go fee for their lack of personnel planning shouldn’t be pushed on the customers.

I learned for the first time ever that a Waffle House will stop serving for dine in. This location let us sit down, wait 20 minutes, and then refuse to let us dine in when we approached the counter asking to be served. They claimed they were to go only and that randomly started despite there being people who were eating at tables. I don’t expect the grandest experience at a Waffle House, but basic service like dining in or informing customer if it’s an option well before they wait 20 minutes seems like a simple request.

This restaurant was very dirty. Especially the bathroom,oh my goodness what a nasty restaurant. The floors were filthy. I will not be coming back there. The cashier was friendly but as if she was in a hurry to take our orders so she could do whatever. The food was okay,but I couldn't enjoy myself looking at how dirty the place was.
