So many things to do there. There's always different events and many places to eat at.

This whole set up, the Waterside District is really a bad set up. There are half dozen or so restaurants in this food court style setup, and on a Saturday afternoon only 1 restaurant is open, a bar (that doesn't serve food - that thought by VA law if you server alcohol you have to food too), and The Market Market Kiosk. The Market Kiosk has a limited menu, take out style setup (order at the counter, sit, wait, listen for your number to be called) with limited ingredients to adjust or modify your order.
Service was acceptable, but nothing more than that. They did not have any drink that were cold (issue with their refrigerator the firl said), and the burger & fries was a said excuse for a burger, especially for $17.
While we didn't order the nachos, we did see a few pass by us. They were a huge portion. Since we didn't order them I can say ananything about the taste, but it certainly appearappeared to be a better value.

The Waterside District in Norfolk, Virginia, exceeded my expectations with its vibrant atmosphere, stunning harbor views and diverse dining options. This dynamic waterfront hub offers breathtaking views of the Elizabeth River from expansive patio areas, perfect for relaxing and socializing.
Dining options are plentiful, with seafood, steaks, craft beers and cocktails available at restaurants like Blue Moon Taphouse, The Market and Guy Fieri's Dive & Dine. Live music, sports games and events create a lively atmosphere, making it ideal for families, friends and couples.
Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Norfolk, Waterside Marina and nearby attractions, the district offers valet, garage and street parking options.
Tips for visitors: plan your visit around sunset for spectacular views, explore the adjacent Waterside Marina and check schedules for live music and events.
Overall, Waterside District seamlessly blends dining, entertainment and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination.
I was extremely disappointed in the Mac and Cheese fest today. I saw an ad for the event and decided to come, not knowing in advance that all of the samples I came to taste had not only differing amounts in "pricing" but also that the admission cost did not cover any samples to begin with. There was no sign at the gate saying that food was not included in admission whatsoever. I believe that the fairly high admission price should include access to trying all of the contestants food, especially when there is a contest for who wins. The voucher system creates unfair conditions for contestants due to the fact that people must budget their vouchers. There was an extreme lack of transparency ahead of time, and because of this I won't be coming back in the future. Too expensive between parking, ticketing, and the additional cost to even try the samples. Spending $40 total to get to taste 3 samples(2@2 vouchers each and 1 @1 ea) is absolutely ridiculous.
Again, severely disappointed and will never come back.
Absolutely splendid, loved it. Wonderful place to visit and relax.
Jessica the bartender was truly the highlight of my entire experience ? she was better than the Mac n cheese fest! Amazing service went above and beyond while already busy with a full bar ! When you see Jessica take care of her ? she will take care of you

Waterside used to be a vibrant place to visit. It has lost its charm, and now it's like a sports bar on the water.

Great experience had a couple drinks with pops..
This is a good place to grab a drink with friends. The space is large with plenty of tables and there are video games if you get bored with your friends.
