I miss the old 1990/2000 WaterSide when it actually had 20 different restaurants, 1 arcade, a club and a piano guy in the middle of it all in that 1 building. Now it's just bars, bars, bars, cakes and ice cream, bars and a bar with a pizza spot in it... I hate that place

It was great. I just wish someone would watch the stupid kids riding the scooters the wrong way on the street and entrance to the highway two to three per scooter. It's dangerous and these kids are going to be seriously injured.

Food at The Grain at The Main Hotel is subpar 😒 like teenagers are in the kitchen, and don't really know what they're doing, lol. Mostly everything on the menu is high school level cooking 🍳 and ingredients. What you're really paying for is the ambiance and the gorgeous views overlooking the water/Chesapeake Bay. Service is nothing to write home about. At least it's with a smile but they keep forgetting things that I've had to ask up to 4x for.... a little excessive 🙄

Great time and experience until we later found out there is a black guy posing as a “bathroom attendant “ in the men’s room and stole my husbands credit card info . We reported it to Lauren the manager, and also the police and they reported he is NOT affiliated with the business. Watch out for this guy.

Service was phenomenal. We went with multigenerational group and even during a busy time and the waitress noticed our youngest was getting cranky waiting for our food and brought him some fries to tie him over. She went above and beyond and I could not thank her enough.

We had the pleasure of being served by Chloe at the Blue Moon Taproom at Waterside District, and it felt almost serendipitous. Our family was gathered the evening before welcoming our sailor home from a long deployment, and as fate would have it, Chloe is a sailor herself.
Despite the restaurant being noticeably understaffed that night, Chloe handled everything with grace, professionalism, and a warm smile. She took a few thoughtful moments to connect with us, share her own experiences, and genuinely added to the excitement and emotion of our special weekend.
Her ability to stay composed, kind, and attentive—especially during a busy shift—was a clear reflection of her full-time service background. We’re incredibly grateful to have crossed paths with her and appreciate the extra layer of meaning she brought to our evening.
