I live locally three times, one in store twice in the drive thru have gotten my orders wrong cut me off half way messed up the order and charged me for something else. I have walked in multiple times to the point where the even crew takes a double take and even the manager takes a peek in my car checking driver and passenger. At one point I said do not put bacon for religious reasons. The added bacon and charged me for “extra bacon” Clearly reviews and comments don’t matter to them. And with this type of disrespect action ought to be taken. Today I simply ordered a Spicy Chicken just the sandwich. The girl cuts me off and says “just pull up”, snatches my card calls in two others to check me, hands me this tosses the card and says you good. So what do you expect me to do on my lunch break with this??

I recently visited the Wendy's here and I was completely shocked by the behavior of one of the employees.

From the moment I pulled up to order, this individual was VERY AGGRESSIVE, INTIMIDATING, AND ABSOLUTELY DISRESPECTFUL.

Their attitude was beyond hostile—it made the entire experience uncomfortable and unpleasant.

When I tried to place my order through the speaker, they interrupted me mid-sentence with a sharp, condescending tone that left me stunned.

It wasn’t just me either; I could hear them snap at the car ahead of me with the same level of disrespect over a simple question about their order.

When I got to the window, it only got worse—they demanded I pull behind somewhere else in an unnecessarily rude way and continued to act in an unappealing, hostile manner.

EVEN IF THIS WAS A BAD DAY FOR THEM, THIS LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

I ended up asking for a refund because the experience was so terrible.

The manager did give me the requested refund, but for some reason, they took my receipt, which I found odd.

Worse still, the management ALLOWED HER TO CONTINUE BERATING OTHER CUSTOMERS without stepping in, chatting away inside and completely ignoring the hostile atmosphere this employee was creating in the drive-thru.

It’s unacceptable that this kind of behavior is being allowed to slide, and it points to a SERIOUS FAILURE IN OVERSIGHT.

No one should feel intimidated just for trying to grab a quick meal.

I’ve always enjoyed Wendy’s in the past, but this experience was so awful that I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon.

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS, I WOULD.

This employee’s actions were completely out of line, and management needs to step up, REPRIMAND THEM, and address what’s obviously a neglected problem.

Customers deserve better than this.

The food was served quickly, so it qualifies as fast food, I suppose. However, the folks at the drive through were... less than friendly? Let's just say it was not the type of attitude towards customers that I would want as the point of contact for an establishment. Part of the process is in the hands of the customer, of course - I (re)learned that it's wise to check your order before leaving. Still, some simple communication would have gone a long way. I thought I was given the wrong side, so I drove all the way back to get the right one... only to find out that they gave me the wrong one on purpose since they were out of the other. That would be useful information to share at the first visit, like when handing the food out the window. It might not have been the fault of the person at the window, but somebody dropped the ball or maybe just didn't care. Based on the body language and lack of common social norms that are used to show concern for others and caring for quality, I would think someone just didn't care. Lastly, if the employees that greeted us were at least as friendly as you would expect for a place of business, it would have been easier to discuss in the first place. Oh well.

Kid-friendliness: They didn't exactly make our kids feel welcome or set a good example for common courtesy.

Tried to get food at the drive through here at 0100 on a Friday night. Waited for over 30 minutes after paying for food for the staff to forget about us. Went through the drive through AGAIN just to get told to order again. Left without getting food after waiting a total of 45 mins.

It's incredible how consistently they mess up our online orders and miss pretty large items. From COMPLETELY plain burgers to missing burgers, chili and so on, were a bit tapped out with this specific location.

We recently ordered through Uber and the first driver forgot our entire meal, only giving us our frosties. No spoons or straws. Okay, totally on the driver for not double checking the order, not Wendy's. We then decide to place a brand new order and even change it from the original. What do we receive? Our original, incredibly cold meals with the two forgotten staws included in the bag. I've lost track at this point with how many times we've had to try to correct our order after being delivered from here. This is the only restaurant and location that gives these consistent examples, especially when ordering through Uber. It's officially time to checkout another location. ✌

Probably the most pathetic Wendy’s in Hampton roads. They never are able to accept the rewards at the drive through. My Chicken sandwich was either nothing but gristle or freezer burnt. Needless to say my “premium” sandwich went straight into the trash; followed by our fries which were extremely under cooked and soggy. We got all the way home before discovering this horrible presentation of Wendy’s. I wasnt going to go back and sit through their slow drive through for a correction so we ordered pizza. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with this location. Never again though, they need to close this particular franchise. There isn’t anything pleasant about doing business here.

They were out of fries and frosty, and were told "well we close soon," 45 minutes before they close. With a line wrapped around the building. We left. Losing customers

First of all if you don't like to work or you are unhappy. Better not work in this kind of business. The staff at this branch is so rude and unprofessional. Is it really that difficult to be nice and give a good customer service? Why hire this people who are so unhappy doing their job. Everytime at the checkout the person there is always rude. When you ask for a bag or anything as if you are making her life miserable. Wendy's you can do better. Train your people to be good and be sure the food they serve is clean.
